We have taken 3 cars here previously and not had issues. However our most recent visit was a cluster mess and has completely changed my opinion of their facility, professionalism, and customer service. First off, the front desk worker Becca, was extremely rude and spoke down to us and said we could not afford to pay after our insurance made a mistake that we are now getting a refund check for. Following this exhausting and insulting interaction when we went out to check our car there were glass shards all over the seat, dash, floorboards, and rain panel of the car. Not only is this a huge hazard but when we brought it to their attention and they vacuumed it, as we drove down the road we noticed that there were still glass shards left over!!! Just avoid this place for your own sanity and safety and go to any of the other dozen places in the area, where you are sure to get better service.

We had a windshield replaced here once before on one of our cars and had a pretty good experience. But this time not so much. Lady would not get up and take a pen and a piece of paper and walk out and get the VIN number from my car. So the conversation went something like this. The girl was obviously annoyed that she had a customer walk in. She asked me what I needed, I said I have a crack in my windshield and she just sat there without speaking and then said “AND” then asked if I had an appointment. I did not have an appointment because that's what I was stopping in to do, make an appointment. I should be very accustomed to it by now, all of us should, but I was a little surprised at her laziness. I said I'd like to get it replaced. In a perturbed voice she said, do you have your VIN number? To which I said no. I'm thinking I wonder how many people actually memorize a 17 Digit VIN number? I was amazed that I was dealing with such a indolent human being. So said I'll go somewhere else and walked out the door. Because if the office staff, is that lazy then? Then it's a good chance the installers are too. I don't know what I was expecting, I guess someone who wasn't so lazy that they wouldn't even get up out of their chair to go write down a 17-digit vehicle identification number. I'm wondering if I use their service, would they want me to actually replace the windshield myself? After posting this I look back and I see some other really bad reviews. Read Kelly Centeno's review.

UPDATE: I am pleased to share that Hannah from customer care reached out and addressed the concerns from my review and assured me the management team takes customer concerns seriously. I greatly appreciate her effort in contacting me to understand my experience and help make things better moving forward. The only reason I chose this place is that my insurance company listed them as a preferred vendor. What a mistake when the competition is just down the road… I walked in for my appointment and the front desk girl didn’t even acknowledge my existence for 5 mins. She was on the phone, which is understandable, but she made a point not to even look at me. She hung up the phone, and without looking at me barked, “Dropping off?” Miserable people shouldn’t be customer-facing. After 2.5 hours of waiting at the location, I checked in with Miss Personality, and apparently my car had been ready for a while. The tech apologized to me (wasn’t his fault as he didn’t see me when I checked in) but she just shrugged and said, “oh, I thought she had the camry.” And that was it. Wow, your two major job functions are to greet/check in customers and let them know when the work is done! There was only one other guy waiting there the whole time I was, so volume doesn’t appear to be a factor. Next time, go to Safe Lite down the street!

A rock hit my windshield and crack it like a star shape as big as a quarter. I called auto glass & service talk to Taylor she said, bring it on in. When I arrived, she came out and greeted us. She explained the procedure and what was going on if they could not fix it, they would stop and let me know. They were successful. Everything was great. The damage was fixed and I was out of there in less than an hour great service with Taylor and Matt. The waiting room was clean, cozy and had snacks! Highly recommend

I recently had my windshield replaced by Auto Glass Serviand I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From start to finish, their team went above and beyond in both their care for my vehicle and their overall customer service. The staff also made sure I was informed and felt comfortable every step of the way. What really stood out was the level of accommodation they provided—working around my schedule and even offering additional support to ensure the process was as smooth and stress-free as possible. It’s rare to find a business that treats both you and your vehicle with this level of respect and professionalism. I highly recommend Auto Glass Service to anyone needing auto glass services. They’ve certainly earned a loyal customer in me.

I got into my vehicle, and found it was leaking, mostly near the window shield. Thought the leak was the windshield, and called multiple locations throughout Johnson City, TN, including other window repair shops, automotive repair locations, and even a few collision repair shops, trying to find anyone that could reapply the sealant of my front windshield. They stated they only replace windshields, one said they could try to reseal it, but, the windshield would likely break in removal, and then was unable to get a good date to try to resolve it, and due to my work, I could only do it late Friday or Saturdays only. They said they couldn't help me. I got a referral from one of the assistants at my doctors office I was at, she had received excellent service here, so I went by, and asked for help. Jake and Logan diagnosed and repaired the issue within 15 minutes of my arrival at their location! Excellent service, and the fast assistance, as it was pouring buckets of water, and my vehicle was still leaking like a sieve, was outstanding! Highly recommend this company and people!
