Glass America - Auto Glass & Windshield Repair

Great job on replacing my front windshield. I went to the Elma location and my car was taken into the shop within minutes of the appointment time. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The job was done in about an hour. The repair technician, Mike, was very courteous and patient with me while I inspected every detail of his workmanship. He passed with flying colors. The glass install was perfect, both the interior and exterior of my car were clean and all of the trim pieces were properly aligned. This was the first time I have gone to this company and I would not hesitate to go there again.

Outstanding experience at this location. I got scheduled here for a windshield replacement by Gerber Collisions. They scheduled me pretty quick in 2 days after the initial inquiry. The windshield relacement process was also very quick. 1759 Kenmore is an renovated location, spacious and clean. Waiting area has TV, Keurig coffee machine and a mini fridge with sodas. A guy came and gave me all the info I wanted to hear, including re-calibration and other things. He told me it would take an hour but they were done after half an hour. 20 min into the process, the guy came to e and told me the cause of the crack and what to do in the future to avoid it. After it was done, the guy gave me instructions what to do and not to do for the next 24 hours to help the windshield harden. The whole process was very, quick, precise and in the direction of a luxurious experience. With mechanics these days, this was an outlier on the outstanding side. Maximum happiness.

Excellent service! Highly recommend. I called Glass America on a Friday evening and was able to speak with a live agent right away, in English, no holding. They scheduled my appointment for Monday morning and took my insurance information right over the phone. They handled everything with the insurance company for me. It was fully covered by my insurance and I didn't have to do anything. They came to me at work on Monday AM. They communicated well and had no issue finding my car on the large campus. The technician was friendly and helpful. He replaced my entire windshield and it looks great. It only took him 30 minutes. He salvaged all of my stickers (NYS inspection, NYS registration, and even a little decorative sticker). Excellent company! Much faster service than SafeLight..

I absolutely love this store! The staff is incredibly friendly and always takes the time to understand exactly what you need. They are very considerate of your needs and go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied. Their service is top-notch, and every experience I’ve had here has been smooth and professional. I truly appreciate their attention to detail and customer care. This is an excellent glass repair shop, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone in need!

Horrible experience. Very disappointing. I was told my windshield was at the shop and ready for my truck. They lied. They cancelled the appt twice and told me the windshield never arrived and that I should go to a “Yunkyard”. What kind of bullshit is that. I was very disappointed with your company. Be honest and don’t waste people’s time. Thanks for NOTHING.

I had my Subaru windshield replaced by Glass America. The insurance company said it would take about two hours. Mike had it done in about an hour while I waited. The waiting and rest rooms was spic and span. I liked the personal service Mike provided and would highly recommend to have your windshield replaced here.
