I called to inquire about repairing a chip on our windshield that had happened the day before. The person on the phone asked a few questions and then told me it sounded like the Glass America technician would be able to make a repair of our windshield, rather than a replacement. An appointment was scheduled. I was told that on the day of my scheduled repair I would get a text to inform me when that day a technician would arrive. I got a text and a technician arrived at the arranged time. The repair took about 20 minutes. The technician was friendly and courteous. All in all my experience with Glass America was a good experience .

I want to give a big shout out to Glass America from the start of the first phone call customer service was immaculate prices were way better than Safelite and those around. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours and they were mobile they came outside the city of Albany and travel to Schenectady. The tech who did my window actually did the window in the rain so I want to give a big shout out to him as well I would recommend Glass America to everybody around the capital region there must have and The crucial moment. It might I say they have the best prices around they are very budget friendly. Stephon Nesbitt

Great experience at Glass America. Had a crack in my windshield. Was able to make an appointment very soon after my initial call. The technician , Cory, was excellent. He came to my driveway and wasted no time installing a new windshield. But in order to recalibrate the safety features, ( my driveway was not a flat surface), I had to go to the Glass America shop the next day. Again, another great experience! Anderson, the technician had the whole thing done in about 20 minutes. I can't say enough about this whole experience, and I would highly recommend Glass America to anyone looking to have a job well done!

On May 28, 2025, Trevor changed the windshield on my 2023 VW Taos. A technical job to say the least with cameras, calibrations and all the technical issues - it wasn’t just an easy replacement. I brought it back thinking I had a glitch and he addressed the issue immediately and ran the diagnostics. It turned out there was and is no problem. He was kind, thorough and showed his expertise. He was someone I put my trust in and he didn’t disappoint. Would totally use Glass America again. K Groenewold

I made an appointment with them for next day service. During the appointment time (a Thursday) they called me and told me that they need to reschedule (to a Tuesday). I told them the only reason why I took the appointment was because it was the soonest and that I can't be driving around with a broken window. The person on the phone came back with an alternative time of Friday afternoon. I reluctantly agreed since I had work. Come early Friday morning, outside of the time frame I was given, the technician called me and said he was on the way. I was not available and said I was expecting him during the time frame they told me. He then said someone would call me... no one ended up reaching out. All in all what a headache to deal with.

It’s zero stars for me. On the day of service I waited all day for the technician. Keep in mind I received a confirmation text and several emails. Around 3pm I called customer services, to see what was going on. I was told I didn’t have an appointment for that day. I said ma’am that’s not true. She told me it’s on Thursday. I told her I didn’t schedule that I work on Thursday. I hung up and called the technician. The technician stated they took you off my schedule this morning and was supposed to call you. He then informed me the windshield was not there that morning. Keep in mind they were supposed to order it on May 19,2025. I received a call from the district manager stating someone called me at 9:30am and left a voicemail. I said that’s a lie because I’ve been up since 7am, I didn’t receive a voicemail. The general manager called also, trying to make it right. At that time it was too late, they had broken my trust. It was too shady and unprofessional. I got with my insurance company and switched companies. If you want professionalism and competent communication go with safelite. Glass America needs more training on communication and customer service. I wish I didn’t have to place a star to post.
