Glass America - Auto Glass & Windshield Replacement

I took my SUV to Glass America to have them replace my windshield because of a scratch across the viewing area from the windshield wiper. When I called Glass America, I received a friendly voice that was very congenital and extremely knowledgeable. She helped me with the insurance company process and made the appointment for my exchange within a couple of days. When I dropped my vehicle off at the Norfolk location on Azalea Garden Rd, I was greeted with a friendly smile and they took my keys. The windshield was replaced and I was notified within a couple of hours the job was done. When I picked it up, the customer service rep was very nice and told me all the do's and don'ts for the next few days. They were fast, clean, knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend Glass America for auto glass repairs/replacement.

I originally entered my VIN number online and was giving a acceptable quote for a replacement windshield, however the next morning someone from their location called me and told me that "oh yeah since you didn't put in the VIN number it defaults to the cheaper price" I entered my VIN number and I was quoted $279. This person calls me and tells me that nope that's not the right glass it's going to cost you about $500. what the hell is the purpose a "get a quote" feature if you don't honor your own quotes? If your system is flawed then fix it. Unprofessional. I would not do business with this company.

I could not be happier with the service Glass America provided. The technician was awesome. Down to earth everyday good person. The price was better then anyone else in the business. And trust me . I did my research. I will not ever use another glass repair company ever. Honestly I don't do reviews unless it warrants a review. Good or bad. Best experience you could ask for. Especially when you have no where to park your vehicle from the elements . It matter to Glass America as much as it mattered to me

Scheduled my car to be dropped off and when it wasn't there when they opened the tech was calling. I may have been a rare case but after dropping my car off they were calking back for pick up 45 minutes later. The front windshield looked great and so far no leaks. No big rain yet but I'm confident it's gonna be good. I was very skeptical about this place after reading the reviews. But they were close to my job and cheaper then the rest so I gave them a try. They were awesome and fast. I don't know what the complaints were about but they took care of me and what I paid for. I will definitely go there for my next glass needs.

Samantha Serran* who works with the insurance agents behind the scenes to get claims filed for our customers deserves to be recognized x10. Anytime I have an issue (which is EXTREMELY rare w/ GA) she gets it taken care of and responds within minutes. Its unreal. Forever grateful for this employee of yours, wish we could hire her for ourselves. Give the girl a raise/bonus/fruit basket whatever, she deserves it.
