I would recommend this shop - great service. Once they had the info from my insurance company to replace the shattered rear door drivers side window of my 2012 Nissan Altima, they called me to schedule an appointment. I was in and out in less than an hour - they cleaned out all the broken glass, replaced the window, and verified that the window mechanism was still working. Friendly, courteous staff. They were very kind when i first called. Very punctual and the guys who changed my windshield were very nice, but they do NOT guarantee their work. I have a cover over the wires on my windshield, they scraped the clips off and reattached to the new windshield. This was Wednesday, today is Friday and they are falling off. I called and the lady told me that they didnt do it and said the new windshield came with them on it. I advised it didnt, she got pissed and asked if i was there and watched them put them on? I told her my husband was n watched them. She told me i could bring in, thy are in Albany I am in Troy, she said they would not come back to me and hung up on me. I also asked to speak to supervisor she said she was the owner. They had no problem coming out to me when my insurance was paying them, but to fix their shotty job i have to drive 20min to them. No thanks.

I experienced the best customer service ever!! 2002 Chevrolet Express work van, not the most common vehicle on the road. I called Thurs afternoon and spoke with Randy. He quoted me a great price. I had full glass coverage so that was not a factor. I asked when he could get me in and it was 9:00am Fri morning! I arrived at 9:00 and they were ready to go to work. Here is the best part. I had my windshield replaced 6 years ago at Safelight. I have satellite radio and the antenna is above the windshield. The cable ran under the windshield trim. Safelight glued the cable in the windshield channel 6 years ago, so Guardian had to be extremely careful cutting out the old windshield or they could have cut the satelite radio cable. No problem, windshield out and cable intact by 9:25. Now it gets even better. At 10:am they are done but ask if I am in a hurry because they would like to glue my plastic windsheild cowl cover together (it was in 4 pieces for the last 4 years and is a discontinued part). Really? Wow absolutely yes!! I'll pay for that!! When the job was done I asked what I owed for the extra work. They said NOTHING!! In todays service environment, this is unbelievable. I asked to speak with Joe (the owner) and he was actually pulling my van out of the shop. He is who glued my cowl back together! His son Matthew also worked on my van to make a team of 3. For you high end and newer car owners, do not be afraid to bring your car here. This shop is certified to re-calibrate all Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), I saw the certifications hanging on the wall. I called this place on a recommendation from a friend who went there when it was A Line Auto Glass. That business was just recently bought out and renamed Guardian Windshield. Right off the bat I got a weird vibe from this business. No website, the place looks pretty run down, and you communicate and set up an appointment via text message which tells me there isn't even a landline phone associated with the business. Alarm bells started going off. He asked for a deposit which he said I could send through a secure Square link. That's when I decided not to use this business. I'm pretty hesitant to submit credit card information through links. That on top of everything else just seemed too sketchy and I didn't feel comfortable moving forward. Can't really speak to the service because I didn't end using this business so for all I know, the place is great but I'm just leaving this to say beware. No website, no business phone number, and everything is done via text message. I'm all for supporting smaller businesses but businesses need to try a little harder to instill confidence before I have them hundreds of dollars. Something doesn't seem right. The place needs to improve its optics.

While driving on the highway last week, a pipe fell off of the car in front of me and completely shattered my windshield. This was the first place I called, and I spoke to Randy who not only went above and beyond to get my windshield fixed quickly, but was also so kind and wanted to make sure I was alright after the accident. He and the guys at the shop had my car looking brand new by the next morning!! They did amazing work, and even took care of some rust that was under the windshield at no extra charge. As I said, they went above and beyond and actually vacuumed out and cleaned all of the glass, which was EVERYWHERE in the car. I am so glad this is the place I went to. I highly, highly recommend them and am so grateful for all their help!!

A-Line is awesome all the way around. Great people to work with from front desk to the techs. I travel all over for work so it’s difficult to book appointments; they got my new windshield delivered in a reasonable time, same day, and installed while a waited. Insurance claim was a breeze as I only had to pay my deductible to the shop. Customer service is top-notch. I highly recommend.
