**Warning: Do NOT pay these guys in cash. If anything goes wrong with the windshield installation, you are on your own.** Initially, they were incredibly nice both in person and on the phone—until I had a problem. **Short version:** They ordered the wrong windshield for my car. The technician showed me the incorrect windshield, assured me it would work, but it didn't. When I asked them to redo the installation, they demanded I pay the full price again. **Long version:** **Day 1** I received a quote of $209 + tax over the phone. However, upon arrival, they said it would be $290 + tax. I left and called the office to clarify. Leonard on the phone told me basically the shops can give you whatever price they want and that $209 was still good if I returned the next day. **Day 2** I brought the car back. The technician said the installation would take 45 minutes. After an hour, he reassured me again it would be "just 45 minutes." Four hours later, he admitted they had received the wrong windshield from the warehouse but insisted it would work just fine and with my “approval” he proceeded with the installation. Upon completion, they pushed hard for a cash payment, claiming their credit card machine was down and urging me to use an ATM or Zelle. I insisted on paying by credit card, which turned out to be a wise decision. Before handing over the car, they made me sign an invoice confirming I was satisfied with the work. After signing, the technician took both copies of the invoice and tampered with them to add a credit card fee. This was highly suspicious, but I was eager to leave. The installation was unacceptable. A metal mount was glued onto the windshield, hanging out in the open and not covered by the rear mirror housing. Just look at the pictures! I informed the technician that this was unacceptable, but he said it was the best he could do. I called the main office in Baton Rouge to complain. They claimed that since I had “approved “the wrong windshield, they would charge full price again to install the correct one. Meanwhile, the dealer informed me that it was unsafe to drive with the wrong windshield because it compromised several safety features. I told them I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. The situation escalated, and they accused me of trying to get a free windshield, signing my name incorrectly to avoid payment, or trying to make this look like it’s their fault, and several intimidation tactics about how the invoice I signed said that the work was completed to my satisfaction. Ultimately, I had to pay an extra $100 after receiving a $26 discount and free labor on a replacement windshield. If I had paid in cash, I would have had to pay the full $250 again. **Day 3** When I dropped off the car for the correct windshield, they replaced it. After signing the new invoice, I was trying to take a photo of it and the technician snatched it from my hands, including my copy before I could take a photo. Then he left to deal with another customer. Knowing how they tampered with the first invoice, so I retrieved my copy. When he is back the technician was furious and accused me of breaking the law by taking my copy without his permission. We ignored him entirely, after a 5 minute rant he delivered the car. Currently, there are tapes holding the windshield in place because "it may fall." We'll see in 24 hours if it holds. I hope this disaster is over. I learned my lesson about importance of taking my car to a reputable place, despite the initial price difference which I ended up paying for in the end.

I had a really mixed experience with Jazz. My car window was smashed out, and they got me a same day appointment which I appreciated. They said it would take an hour and it ended up taking over two. Payment is cash, or you have to pay a fee to use a credit card, which I didn’t know. Woman at front desk was kind and very helpful. I left in a bit of a rush, because the appointment took so long, and didn’t realize till I got to my destination that there were bubbles in the tint they had installed, the window was filthy, there was a ton of glass in the door, which rattles loudly, and my door panel was not reassembled correctly. I went back the next day to let them know, and they removed the tint and gave me my money back for it, but didn’t address the other two issues which again I didn’t realize until I had left. I could probably bring it back a third time to have them re-open the door panel and vacuum the glass out fully, and reassemble correctly, but ended up just putting the door panel back myself. The glass is still rattling in my door.

Terrible service. I was quoted 2 hours and it took nearly 8, then when I arrived they didn’t check my id or even my name and gave me the wrong paperwork. They charge a $15 fee for credit card transactions. Then, the day after my windshield was replaced the waterproofing started peeling off (see pictures), and I noticed water marks on my dashboard from rain the night before. Not to mention they left a mess in my car and somehow managed to knock my right rear view mirror loose. When I called to ask about my options for getting some kind of refund or fix, they hung up on me and didn’t return my message. Plus I’m pretty sure they over charged me. Will definitely never be returning.

First and foremost, they offer one of the best prices in the city/state/country. I talked to customer as I waited, and he quoted me $800 for his Toyota Sequoia when he stopped by a national chain. He came here and I don't know what he officially paid but probably similar to what I paid, which is around $250. The installation time: 45 minutes or faster. However, since they don't stock hundreds of windshields, they have a delivery guy -- which I assume they probably deliver every hour / every other hour. Based on my observation, you might be there 60-120 minutes. The quoted time of 45 minutes is a bit misleading BUT it's totally worth the wait if you are saving $150-plus (for same day installation). Tip: You can eat at nearby take out places and restaurants, OR drink coffee with shop(s) within walking distance including Ideal Market (latin grocer and take out cuisine).PositiveQuality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAuto windshield repair

I woke up to bring my daughter to school and saw my car had its drivers side window smashed in. I was originally going to schedule an appointment with a big name company but they couldn’t get me in til the next day and the price quoted was outrageous. I searched around for a local business and found Jazz Auto Glass. It had great reviews. I called at 8:45, they checked to make sure they had the correct window in stock, they confirmed they did and said they could fit me in at 9:15. The entire process took 1 hour start to finish. The cost was half of what I was quoted at the other place. Clarence replaced my window and he could not have been more kind, professional and efficient. I’m happy to have chosen to go with a local small business. I can’t express how grateful I am. I’ll be referring everyone to Jazz Auto Glass. Thank you all SO much!

Came here because reviews looked decent and price was the best. Came on Saturday 1/7/23 and after leaving windshield was extremely dirty with what I thought were fingerprints. After wiping I noticed this scratch which is right in front of driver. After at least 50 calls and 3 visits they refuse to replace the windshield. I paid for a new windshield not a scratched windshield. Coco tells us to come in and my son gets there 2 separate Saturdays and is told no he’s being petty. It’s right in the immediate line of sight and is very distracting. They obviously don’t care about anyone’s time or money. When paying for a new windshield one would expect a blemish free windshield, right? I wish we would have just paid the extra money and gone with another company. I’ve reached a point I don’t trust them at all. I am disputing the charge!!ServicesAuto windshield replacement
