I came a long ways to get my service done at Safe Auto Glass. I was greeted in a friendly but odd way by the man at front desk. He said to talk to the beautiful lady next to him, she will help you. Then he said to the girl “Go to the far computer to stay away from me. I gave her my information and my car keys. I told him my window got smashed by a thief. He said “Maybe it was your baby daddy”. I sloughed it off and laughed. I said I am too old for that and laughed. He must be joking, yes? I asked if there are any restaurants in the area because I am hungry. He said maybe one of the boys in the back can take you out to lunch for a date. Then a guy can from the back to ask him a question. He said “How about you have him take you to lunch? Huh? I said I want a friend only, no date. Since he seemed kind of jovial, I said “How about you go to lunch with me? You like Thai Food? Suddenly his demeanor changed. He said “You are a racist!” I was shocked. I said no, I am not. He said “You want me to eat Thai food”. I sloughed the comment off. Then I asked if there are any warranty. He said yes, for a lifetime. Is there paperwork to show that? He didn’t answer. I said the reason I ask that as the surface of the window has to be very clean, otherwise the film won’t stick. He said “ Are you telling me how to do my job? I have done this for 37 years and I don’t need you telling me how to do my job. I know your type, you are trouble and all you are going to do is complain afterward. I don’t want your business. Take your car keys back and get out of here. I stood there in shock. WHAT??!!!! He told the girl to give me my keys back. I said no, please! He said no. He wanted me to get out. Then I actually had to beg for him to do the job. I told him I drive many miles to get here for my appointment. He said ok, but only if you shut up and not say another word. Then he pointed to the chair and commanded me like I was a dog “Go sit down in the chair and don’t say another word”. I asked if I could go eat. He said Yes, go eat. Get out of here and go eat. I went to a restaurant across the street to eat. When I came back, another customer was outside. He said to me “I can’t believe that guy. You didn’t deserve that. I think he is the boss because of the way he exerts his power over the other employees. I went inside and tiptoed to a seat. I motioned to the girl silently if my car was done. She whispered (why does she have to whisper?!) that my car is still being worked on. When I got my car back, they did a nice job. But the way I was treated was beyond horrendous. I actually tiptoed back to seat to not trigger this guy. Someone said his name is Tom.

Called this place last night and they gave me a quote for a rock chip in my windshield, was told i dont need an appointment. Came in this morning at about 8:15 and their lobby was locked. A nice technician came over and talked to me, let me into the lobby and made me a coffee. This tech told me the front desk guy was running a little late, which we have all been there. When the front desk guy comes in at about 8:30 he asks me to wait a minute and then he will check me in. Felt reasonable so I waited. This man then starts making sales calls. I thought to myself, okay maybe he has to make a few calls and then he will check me in. He then proceeds to go to the bathroom, which is right next to the waiting area, and i could HEAR that he didnt wash his hands. When he came back out he continued to make sales calls and not even look at me. I decided at 8:50 to take my business elsewhere, so i started to pack up and leave. This man didnt say a single word to me as I left. Only rated 2 stars because the tech was AMAZING. I cannot recommend this place to anyone who cares about their time or customer service in the slightest.

Honestly poor customer service. The owner is condensing and rude. I had an appointment set for 9am on 3/29/24. I made it around 8:30am. The doors were opened around 8:45am. My man was on the on the phone with me and let the owner know what kind of tints to put on the car. The price completely changed from what him and I were originally told multiple times on separate occasions. We got estimates from multiple other companies that ranged within the original price given to us of $250. Of course we both were upset and the owner brushed it off and tried to flip it as if it was being blown out of proportion. The owner said he made a mistake and didn’t realize it was an suv after receiving the make, model, and year of the car multiple times. He also let it be known the tinting process takes 4hours. We continued with the process even though the price went up to $285 before tax. This whole conversation happened before 9am. The time was going on 10am and the first car which was not ours was being serviced. When I asked he said he was going to bring our car in, in a few minutes and it should be done a little before 2pm. I chose to leave and I came back around 11am. The car was still in the same spot never moved. I asked what I could get taken off for the wait time the agreement was $25 at the moment. The time for the car to be completely finished was still set at 2pm. What he didn’t know while I was talking to him was I was on the phone. The time was getting closer to 1pm, and the car was finally taken back. He came out and told me he would make me very happy. He took $50 off of the price given in the morning because of how patient I was. He told me they doubled booked for the whole day. To me it meant nothing because it put the price point back in the original range before he changed it in the morning. The price he refused to change because of the amount of work that goes into it. The owner also kept playing the he said she said game but he didn’t know we both were on the phone with every interaction with the company. Multiple cars also got done that made it after me including ones without appointments. My man showed up after work to come wait with me around 1:45pm. The owner told another man who came in after me who got the same thing done that his car was almost done. I asked about our car and he said it was going to be about another hour and a half to “dry” meaning it wouldn’t be ready until after 3pm. With that time range given it takes no where near 4 hours to do tint. My spouse got highly upset because of how long I already had been waiting and they went back and forth. The ower started making new excuses concerning the person who does does the tinting not being available, then said he originally said 3 even though we both heard him say 2, then he went back to everything being double booked and then he went on about not needing to be talked to a certain way and how he doesn’t need us. We ended up getting a refund. When we saw the car there were no tints “drying” on the windows. He never truly apologized or tried to make it right without the motive of taking up more time. They took it back to never even start on it. We went to another place and got squeezed in. It took less than an hour for it to get done, it was less than $200, and it was done to perfection with the lifetime warranty. I should have believed the reviews on his character and how he loves to gaslight.

Completely disrespectful for no reason. I had my windshield cracked and asked for an appointment. I arrived and was told to take a seat and hand over my key, no hello or introduction. After 30 minutes, I was asked to pay and found out they do not take checks. If I had been spoken to when I first arrived, I would have happily had card payment ready. I politely asked for a moment while I figured out how to provide card payment (I am applying to doctorate programs and finances are tricky). The owner spoke to me in a completely unwarranted disrespectful manner, overheard by the person I was on the phone with. The person on the phone requested I report them to the BBB for being sexist/ageist, as the only reason I can possibly think of for the awful way in which I was being spoken to was that I was a young female on my own. Although the owner waited for me to figure out the form he needed me to fill out, there is no reason for treating another human being in such an awful manner. I appreciate the apology in the response but will not recommend or return.

Trust the bad reviews. The owner is condescending and rude. He kept telling every noise on my broken window was due to some other issue that they could fix for an extra charge. Then rudely said it was my fault for not telling them to take all glass out from the inside of my door. He blamed the window noise on a small piece of window seal no bigger than 1/8” rip and claimed it caused the window leaking air at the top of the window. When I pointed out the noise was coming from elsewhere, he said it wasn’t their repair fault. The owner is the rudest, sexist person I’ve ever encountered in car repairs. Take your business elsewhere and trust the negative reviews. I’d rather have paid more $$ elsewhere for better job and service. 1/29/24 update, took my car to another legit body shop. They said it was a liability on safe auto glass to NOT remove all broken glass from my car. A point which the rude owner said they do, they don’t. I have pictures to prove they didn’t vacuum the car nor the inside of the door to remove glass. I was told to report this to my insurance company for their hazard to remove. The owner of safe auto told me not to involve my insurance company, but glad I did, because this repair needed $900 in repairs! Safe auto glass also improperly installed the replacement window to the regulator which caused my regulator and motor to malfunction. Causing the window to rattle and wind noise to be loud. The very point the owner below tried telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about. All in all, just avoid this place and go to a real body shop and not a cheap in/out window store. They don’t know what they’re doing.

Called and scheduled window tints to be installed. Set it for the same day at 11 am. The receptionist stated it would be completed at 1:30, so i decided to wait. 1:30 rolls around, and it is still not complete. I notified them i had an important meeting i needed to get too and they said my car would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I had to cancel my meeting, and i did not get my car until 3:26 p.m., and on top of that, there were scratches and dirt in between the tint and glass. And when the tech brought my car around, my doors had streaks and runs on all 4 doors from the spray they used. I had to ask them to clean up their mess. Also, my coffee cup was on the floor of my vehicle rolling around. "No respect for customers' property" Now the tints are under warranty, but no one wants to wait another 4 hours to have them repaired. I may decide to have it fixed on my next day off, and if it goes smoothly and quickly, i will update my review. I would not have any further work done here or recommend the place to anyone. Unfortunately, the tints have a lifetime warranty, so i am forced to return at some point. $345 for tints on all 6 windows if anyone was wondering.
