If I could give Safelite zero stars, I would. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. After scheduling an appointment to replace the windshield on my Corvette, I received a call just moments before the scheduled time, and to my utter disbelief, they refused to perform the service. The lack of professionalism is astounding; it’s as if they have no regard for their customers' time or needs. How can a company that claims to specialize in auto glass have such a blatant disregard for customer service? I am left feeling disrespected and frustrated. If you value your time and your vehicle, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Safelite. They are clearly not equipped to handle any level of service, especially for something as important as a Corvette windshield. Save your time, money, and sanity—look for a company that actually cares about its customers....

We have used this location twice. Both times were amazing. Dealing with a shattered window is never fun, but their Customer service is the best I've dealt with across many repair shops and professional service companies. They give you the Ritz-Carlton treatment! Dare I say the Chick-fil-A level of service kicked up a notch! Our last technician, Chad, was a pleasure and went above and beyond to ensure a good, finished product and then made sure there was no glass left to harm us. The rear window was shattered upon his arrival. I highly recommend this company and location.

This company in Jacksonville is extremely rude, and keeps calling 24hrs before the repair demanding payment before the service. That's not what I agreed to on thier company website, and when I called the complaint department they rescheduled me for next day to have the windshield replaced, and I pay the technician after the job is completed. Then Alicia the assistant store manager calls me again just a few mins ago demanding payment before any repairs are conducted to my vehicle. So yeah I'm pissed. This is going on 2 months of trying to get safelite to replace my windshield in my truck. That assistant store manager is very rude and unprofessional and has lost a good customer. I will pay double or even triple before I allow safelite to touch anything I own. And to just top it off, their technician called me the very 1rst time 2 months ago saying the windshield he had for me has a small Crack in the bottom and we need to reschedule. Then calls me back 5 mins later from a different number stating he would come and install the glass with the small Crack that the glue would seal up anyways for $150.⁰⁰ cash money under the table. I refused and reported him. But yeah, you can not trust this company because of the shadey employees and management team. Gerber has better prices and warranty I just found out. Thanks for nothing safelite. GTH!!! The picture is of the store that called me trying to get money upfront. Going back on thier agreed contract. Her name is Alicia, assistant store manager. The number just above it is customer support line. Thanks alot safelite.....snakes

Dysfunctional experience for a straightforward front glass replacement and will be utilizing a different Safelite location -- fair warning that the front of house here will not provide you the appropriate customer service you deserve. Scheduled an appointment approximately two weeks ago and showed up today (with a backup driver for pickup since it would supposedly take four hours), left, then got a call two hours later that the wrong glass was ordered. Frustrating as that was, we returned to the location to get the car -- since the front desk refused to provide details on timeline -- and tried to reschedule but was refused by the front desk. The individual working that position ... should not be, and was incredibly rude at both dropoff and pickup. After explaining the clear issue of how the wrong glass could be ordered when Safelite had a VIN, the front desk was dismissive and even made the offensive statement of "Are you done yet?" in response when this was clearly Safelite's mistake. This person is not equipped with either the technical understanding or social skills and should not be in the front desk role, and with them being the customer representative we are going elsewhere.

I hate Google won't let me leave negative stars, but Safelite absolutely deserves negative 10 stars. We have entered week 3, 3 technicians, I have lost count on how many phone calls and emails and we STILL do not have the correct windshield in our vehicle (a vehicle windshield they also replaced 3 years ago with zero issues). In addition to not being able to figure out how to look at the vehicle history of their own system (yet they accidentally sent me a link to the receipt from 3 years ago, when they sent me the receipt for the current service), no one and I mean no one at his company knows what the heck "upper management" is or how to reach them. I keep being referred to the lower level local people (assistant store manager, parts puller (yes, you got that, parts puller) and store manager). These are the incompetent individuals who got us here in the 1st place, WHY would I want to continue to deal with them? This is not the same company that our whole family has received stellar service from in multiple prior instances over the years (including replacing a windshield in one of the work trucks from our business). So we are driving around in a vehicle that has the wrong windshield in it from a company that can't define/comprehend "upper management" or figure out how to navigate their own systems. Use at your own risk!!!ServicesAuto windshield repair

DONT USE SAFELITE YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS!!!!! This place must hire homeless people off the streets and give them a van. A little training would help. They incorrectly installed a windshield, which subsequently cracked after the adhesive cured. Then proceeded to tell me that something had hit the windshield and that was the reason for the crack. Also take note of the way the seal is not even and the adhesive isn’t even fully applied around the entire windshield. I hired a local company to fix their shoddy work. The windshield was installed super low and directly on top of a tab that holds the plastic shield that covers the lower portion. The fact that they would not own up to their mistake is to be expected I guess. The real racket came to light when I called my insurance company to complain about the terrible work that had been done. I had to file another claim a day later!! Progressive is apparently affiliated in some way with safelite and they would not even take note of the complaint but instead said that all windshield and window related things must be done through safelite. So they referred me back to safelite to file a complaint. Of course they had just told me I was at fault. I am sure some people probably never have an issue with their install but I can almost guarantee that it was not done properly. Due to lack of proper training and all. I actually took the vehicle to the shop that serviced me, the location off Alta, and showed them everything they denied any fault and claimed a rock must have been thrown at the window while it was parked overnight. It never moved from the time the window was replaced until getting in it the next morning. It was quite obvious the placement of the window was the culprit.
