TL:DR - Stay away from this establishment. --My insurance company set me up with this appointment. --I called 3 different times on 3 different days to confirm they had my windshield. Nobody picks up. Ever. - Bad. -Showed up at 8AM for my appointment - Woman at the front desk was generally unhappy and seemed annoyed when I asked questions - Bad, but typical in 2025. --They took my car in almost immediately - Great! --Was told it was a 3 hour job. They finished in about 2.5 - Fantastic! --I inspected car in the parking lot before leaving. Found tech's tools in trunk. Trim pieces loose around lower windshield. I snapped them back in myself and returned the tool. - Bad. --Driving home an exterior A pillar panel was rattling at speeds over 40MPH. - Bad. Pulled over and inspected. Passenger A pillar was loose and flopping around when I touched it. Surprised it didn't fly off when driving - Really bad. --Checked driver's A pillar. Same thing - Really Bad --Called shop to tell them I'm returning there to have this fixed. Nobody picked up, no voicemail option. See line 1 - Bad, but apparently typical for this location. --On trip back to shop, driver's A pillar broke off when I was driving. Luckily 1 clip was still intact and it stayed on long enough for me to pull over and secure it - WTF --Arrived at shop. For humor, I called the place while standing at the front desk to see why nobody ever picks up. Phones start flashing, my name appears on the desk phone, WITH NO RINGER - Wow... --I brought "Assistant Manager" named Dixon out to look at the mess and pics. Completely unapologetic. He proceeded to "talk to the tech". --"Assistant Manager" Dixon then comes out and actually relays this message to me: My 2023 Polestar 2 was made poorly and that is the cause for the panels flying off. Yes, he actually said this. With a straight face. Useless. - I see why he's never lost the "assistant" title - Bad --I informed him that the panels were built well enough to function perfectly until his shop replaced the windshield. Dixon frowns with confused Pikachu face - Bad, but also sad. --Also informs me that the broken clips clearly visible in the pic and on the trim actually aren't clips at all...!!!. Because the trim piece "just slides into place"... Right, and then it apparently slides off by design when the car is in motion. Yep - Bad. --Dixon drives car into shop for "repair" - Can't wait for this... --Through the window I see a technician forcibly wrestling with the A pillar trim pieces to no avail. I then see him break out glue... - Wow...bad...but ok. --I inspect car in front of technician and point out the gloss black trim pieces are now scratched up from where he tried to force it into place - Bad. --Tech brings out another tech who says "whoops yeah guess we need to order new panels" - Surprisingly, this is the most accountability I've witnessed here all day. --I ask for proof that the parts are going to be ordered so I have record of this conversation. "Needs to get manager for that" ... of course - OK --Enter Dixon again, unapologetic as ever, giving the impression that I've inconvenienced all of them with the panels they broke - I've lowered my expectations at this point. So, OK... --Ask Dixon for proof of part order and conversation. He can't provide one for various irrelevant reasons. Mmhmm - Bad --I keep pressing for proof of order. Dixon doesn't budge...Oh, Dixon. This isn't that hard. But apparently, to him, it really is. So... - Bad --He tells me "a lady" is going to call to confirm the part order by end of day the following day. Yep, sure they are. I didn't receive a call - No surprise there. --0% chance Assistant Manager Dixon has done anything about this, and 100% chance he won't pick up if he knows it's me. --But, fellow readers...I must say...my windshield looks great!! --Can't wait to get the automated "call our help line" canned response from Safelite's Owner in Google. Because, you know, it should be the customer's burden to reach out to fix their car when it's broken by Safelite's own incompetent crew.

Still waiting on the repair of our car at the moment. Haven't been waiting too long, but I'll have to update my review after they're finished to be accurate overall. So far, they seem on point and working hard. There's a nice waiting area available. More to come... Update Time: So, this was a first for me and my hubby. Neither of us ever had a windshield broken or needed fixed, but this last tropical storm snuck by and did us some damage-including shattering the back windshield on our Ford Edge to pieces. We didn't want to waste time looking around for who was better priced and honestly couldn't afford to spend much time window shopping either. Naturally, thanks to their advertising efforts, we remembered their jingle that airs over radio and cable channels every hour on the hour and we have them a call. Luckily, they had time THAT SAME DAY the day of the break that we were able to drive up and they secured a safe seal over the back to protect the car and allow us to drive til our appointment booked 2 days later. I'd have to look back at my Google Pixel 8 Pro and check the time stamp in the photo data to be sure, but I swear from the time we parked to the time we left couldn't have been a whole hour. They were fast, did a great job and it was very straight forward and clear with pricing and no surprises when we paid. A note - we did pay out of pocket for our windshield because apparently in the state of FL you have to have Comprehensive to qualify and we have the minimum required being an older car. It was a little over $400 when all was said and done. I don't know if that's good or bad, high or low and honestly I don't care. The fact is, these guys worked us in, worked quick to not waste our time and did an awesome job with a lifetime guarantee included on the glass and the work too! They were all super nice and stress free. They have a comfortable waiting area inside that's fully air conditioned and offers Free WiFi. The time flew and the results speak for themselves. If this ever happens again, we know who to trust and will absolutely be repeat customers. And I absolutely recommend Safelite to anyone needing windshield repair. They're prompt, professional and do quality work. What more can you ask for? Highly Recommend!

I was genuinely impressed with the entire process and that’s saying something. I went online just to figure out how to book an appointment, and within minutes I had a full quote, a range of options, and an appointment scheduled. The price was very fair, especially considering the convenience of having the technician come directly to me. Nathaniel, the tech assigned to my appointment, was outstanding. He struck the perfect balance, thorough in his explanation without overdoing it, professional, efficient, and incredibly respectful of my time and space. He completed the installation without interrupting me once, and when he was done, my driveway looked untouched, cleaned up immaculately. He walked me through what he had done, gave me clear care instructions, and left me with no questions. Just like that, a stressful situation, cracking my windshield, turned into a completely painless and even impressive experience. Living in Florida, where good service can be hard to come by, I can confidently say Nathaniel sets the bar. If all of your techs are like him, Safelite has one of the best service teams in the industry.

Absolutely Terrible!! I will not ever use them again. Windshield replacement: Got vehicle back, windshield washers and exterior sliding doors and rear hatch inoperable from inside. At one point, someone called me and stated the windshield would need replacement AGAIN!!! Of course when I got there for my appointment, no one knew anything... Returned for repair, same results!! They claimed fuse blown, but they have no fuses, so I bought and delivered fuses to them. Same results. Told me to take it to dealership for repair... So...after 2 visits, 2 calibration installation certifications....my vehicle is in the Chrysler dealership for REPAIR!!

The first time I had my windshield replaced, the trim and other components were not installed correctly. When I called their support line, I was informed that this could have been a catastrophic error, as my windshield was not fully secured. A director eventually reached out and arranged for me to drop the car off for repairs, even preparing a backup windshield in case further damage occurred. When I arrived, I was initially told the issue was minor, but the technicians’ expressions told a different story as they attempted to downplay the problem. A week later, while my car was parked, the windshield cracked again—without any impact. My insurance company confirmed this was a warranty issue due to Safelite’s poor workmanship. However, when I returned for service, I was met with hostility and incompetence. Despite my appointment window being from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, I arrived at 9:41 AM—only 11 minutes past the suggested time of 9:30. Instead of simply addressing the issue, the front desk staff chose to argue about my supposed lateness rather than focusing on resolving the problem. A technician eventually examined the car and outright refused to honor the warranty, claiming I needed to file a new claim instead. Even after presenting documentation from my insurance company confirming the warranty coverage, it was like speaking to a brick wall. This company lacks professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. Their work is careless, their communication is dismissive, and their warranty is essentially meaningless. I would strongly recommend seeking an alternative glass repair service if you value quality and integrity.

Worst customer service ever! I waited all day for a technician to come to my house to replace my windshield. Cleared my ENTIRE day. They said someone would be here anywhere from 12-5pm. At 4pm I received a text that my service was complete. Funny because NO SERVICE HAPPENED. I also paid for this in full prior to my appointment. $500!!!!! When I called a girl was extremely rude and unhelpful and said the technician couldn’t get in touch with me. ALSO FUNNY because I have no missed calls, no voicemails, no texts, no door bell was rung. NOTHING. You basically robbed me and lied about coming to my place. Do not give these people your money. They are liars and thieves.
