I would highly NOT Recommend Safelite. This is the first time i used them due to COVID. I had a small pinhole chip to repair and i ended up with a much worst crack on the windshield. Upon calling customer service, they will only credit the insurance company back for the repair that did not work, but i have to pay for a new windshield. I will not use them again.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Misquoted me. I left early for work, had to get a ride from there to work only to be called 30 minutes later to say they ordered the wrong windshield and it was going to cost me $500+ more than my original quote. I then had to use my lunch break and have someone drive me back to their location to pick up my car. I paid upfront and it took 6 days for me to get my money back. I never got a call back after I requested a manager call me. No response to my online contact request. Made attempts to reach them with no success. Awful experience.

Mobile service was not satisfactory. We are now required to drive an hour and a half to get job completed, kind of defeating the term MOBILE SERVICE! Manager was rude when calling, insisting that we come to his shop to finish the job and then made ups wait another week for an opening, telling us it should take a hour is all. So we are driving around with glue and tape holding our windshield on! If mobile service was not proper for this car an appt should have been offered immediately not 3 weeks later.

SAFELITE SUCKS Two weeks ago we had an appointment for 11:30 AM at Safelite auto glass. When we arrived the receptionist told us it was too late in the day to fix our car. She said a convertible takes all day, so we must reschedule. Today we drove there and the same woman told my wife they couldn't work on her car because she was 10 minutes late. The receptionist didn't ask if she could leave her car overnight. She told us if we weren’t happy with them, she knows a guy who's really good. With that statement I knew they didn’t want to or didn’t know how to repair our car. I get the feeling the Safelite technicians aren't comfortable with working on a convertible or they're not properly trained to handle the task. According to my brother, who has owned Auto Glass Connection in Arlington, TX for 25 years, Safelite technicians are trained for two weeks then are listed as factory trained and certified. To save yourself some grief, find another shop.

If I could give 10 stars I definitely would... I made my appointment on Thursday evening for them to come to me that Saturday morning between 8 am and noon. And he was here shortly after 8 and my whole windshield needed replaced and he was gone before 10. Very good service. Also... my old windshield was causing alot of noise. There's a huge difference!!! Thank you safelite!

Great service from beginning to end! The staff stayed in touch via text and email every step of the way. Had a whole windshield replaced after a highway stone ding cracked it. The job was completed within a couple of hours; everything necessary was calibrated and works great. (My 9-yo son loves the jingle, btw). Definitely recommend Safelite in Sioux City. They took care of the insurance claim... couldn't have been an easier process. Super happy customer here!! I will recommend to all my friends and coworkers!
