Safelite repairs, safelite replaces... can you hear their jingle in your head? We came there to replace our brand new Nissan Sentra windshield after it had been cracked by a rock on the freeway. We arrived on time for our scheduled appointment. All work was done to excellence in less than the originally alloted time. The personal was professional and very friendly. They detailed our side windows, front of the car along with the new windshield, breathtaking service! 7 stars.

There is not one thing I can say bad about my experience with the Safelite replacement windshield. From filing of my claim and the reminder emails and phone calls about my appointment to the excellent Service the Tech performed. The Tech was very professional, friendly and accommodating. He explained the process and what to do after the install. He was second to none. And the cheery on top, my insurance company has no deductible on windshield repairs.

Incompetent, unprofessional, poor communication! Less than zero stars! I took my vehicle to Safelite, Bangor to have my broken rear passenger window replaced. They installed a scratched window or scratched it in the process. I called and scheduled a mobile warranty replacement. The tech arrived very late, removed the wrong window, swore profusely, damaged the door in the process and left without replacing the correct window. I spoke with the manager, Matt, who assured me they would make it right along with a refund. After no further communication, I received an appointment email a few days prior for the repair and window replacement today. The mobile tech showed up on time, replaced the window and repaired the door BUT, he left my keys in the ignition and in the on postion which left me with a dead battery upon getting out of work. Phone calls to the shop go unanswered. Talked to someone at Safelite (some other location) who has sent an email to the manager, hopefully promting him to reach out to me. 0 out of 10 experience. 100% would NOT recommend!

I would select a 0 star if I could. They were trying to accommodate at first and gave up. Kids gave me my truck on Saturday and had no clue what was going on, was circus and lied to me about the seat routing. My family safety (5 year old and 7 who are strapped into the back) has been put at risk and my wife and I are getting the run around. The place won't address the problems they caused. Not to mention the multiple trips back and forth due to wrong glass being ordered and then the glass being installed wasn't OEM like we were told it would be. This specific location removed my entire back seat in my truck and never reinstalled correctly. Missing nuts, seat belts not routed correctly not in the steel loops if in an accident (take off a head), parts laying on the floor, seats not locked in back etc.. In addition to that plastic pieces left on floor that are part of the actually seat belts not put back, installation tape and garbage left all over, the back heating element was lifted off the window and it looked like it was attempted to be reglued because it is most likely busted, and electrical tape still left in it over the latch, the windows were left with grease on them and we were told the glass is supposed to have grease all over them to help them slide. "Grease all over the glass because they need to slide" like unbelievable. Complete disaster... Perhaps maybe hire better help on weekends. This isn't my fault this happened. Find a different location. Beware....

I had a lot of other things to do in Bangor. I was actually able to drop it off earlier than my scheduled appointment time which was very convenient. It was actually starting earlier than my scheduled time. I was thrilled to get a call saying it was ready earlier because I had a long drive home afterwards. They were respectful kept me updated on their progress and let me know when the car was ready.

I brought my vehicle in to have the windshield replaced earlier this year. No issues, great service. However, they neglected to put my inspection sticker on the new windshield and didn't mention anything. Called three different phone numbers to try to get this settled, and finally got an actual number from their live chat. My car had just been inspected so this was very disappointing. Replaced my oil change sticker, but not my inspection... At the very least, they're offering reimbursement, but it never should have happened in the first place. Very frustrated with the negligence and the difficulty in finding a working phone number.
