Such an easy stress free process. I got in the website and put in the year make and model along with the insurance information and Safelite handled everything online including the insurance claim. I scheduled the replacement online and the next day Eric was out here 2 hours early ready to install my new windshield. He even saved my brake tag like it wasn’t even moved. Thank you Eric and Safelite for an excellent job. I even handled the deductible payment online through Safelite.

I’ve now brought my vehicle to Safelite twice to have the windshield replaced, and both times it has leaked afterward. This is beyond frustrating and concerning — a leaking windshield isn’t just inconvenient, it risks serious damage to the electrical components inside the car. Each visit has also been an incredibly long process. I’ve had to wait over 3 hours both times, which means taking time off work just to end up with an incomplete or faulty job. At this point, I’ve lost time, money, and confidence in Safelite’s ability to get it right. I expected professional-quality service and unfortunately, that’s not what I received.

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Never Again If I could give ZERO stars, I would. On Wednesday, April 2, my back glass shattered. That night, I filed a claim through my insurance for Safelite to repair the glass. They came out Thursday and “fixed” it—but when I got in the car, the new glass was clearly defective. There was a huge distorted, blurry spot about 3-4 inches wide at the top that made driving incredibly distracting and unsafe. I called Thursday night—of course, they were closed—so I called first thing Friday morning. A rep filed a warranty claim and told me a tech would come out Monday, April 7, to fix it. I received an email at 9:10 AM saying a technician named Brandon would be out between 12 PM and 6 PM. At 10:58 AM, Brandon called and told me he had no idea why he got the ticket because he was nearly an hour away in New Orleans East, and I was downtown. He then made up some nonsense about not being able to remove the glass unless it had been five days because of the glue. Sir, if the glass is being REPLACED, what does glue drying even have to do with it? I told him I needed it fixed that day—it’s their fault the glass is messed up. He said he’d call his supervisor and get back to me. I didn’t hear from him again until 3:12 PM with the same excuse. I reiterated that I needed the glass replaced THAT DAY. He claimed to understand. Then, at 5:51 PM, Brandon called back to say he wasn’t coming. I asked to speak to a supervisor—he gave me a number that didn’t even work. I had to call customer service myself. They contacted Brandon, who then LIED and said he got my assignment mid-shift, even though I received an email at 9:10 AM—CLEARLY the start of his shift. He never intended to show up. He just didn’t feel like doing the job. The whole glue excuse was a lazy cover. The customer service rep said he’d escalate and request a refund. I DO NOT want this company touching my vehicle ever again. I don’t want an apology. I want my money back. FULL STOP. If I don’t get a refund, I will be taking legal action for lost wages, pain and suffering, and being unable to drive my car to work. Safelite cost me time, money, and peace of mind. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this unprofessional mess of a company.

⸻ Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience I had a windshield replacement scheduled at Safelite (901 S Labarre Rd, Metairie, LA) for 12:00 PM, but my vehicle wasn’t touched until 1:00 PM — with no explanation or communication. When I asked about the delay, the manager responded with sarcasm and laughed at my frustration instead of offering any apology or resolution. Completely unprofessional. I expected basic courtesy and respect for my time — neither were given. I won’t be returning, and I don’t recommend this location to anyone who values their time or expects decent customer service.

I set up 3 different appointment to get my glass fixed on my 2021 Volvo. Each time I went to appointment, they did not have the glass or that the appointment was not scheduled. Today, I had the below text and when I called to confirm, they said that the appointment was not on the books. The automated service is frustrating, the lack of accountability was horrible and no body knows what the problem is. I will not use their service despite the fact of the good rates. Good rates don’t mean anything if you can get service. This has been over a month trying to get replacement glass for my auto.

Safelite is the best company to deal with for windshield replacement. I had the pleasure of meeting Barry who was my technician and he was great! Barry was very professional and friendly and had my windshield taken care of in an hour. He gave us a courtesy call when he was in route and it was refreshing to deal with someone who takes pride in their work and profession. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!
