I am extremely disappointed and livid with my experience at this so-called reputable company. Not only did they fail to complete their job, but they also caused significant damage to my well-maintained vehicle in multiple areas. After the windshield installation, I noticed various scratches around the installation site. My rear brake light has a prominent chunk taken out of it, and the area above it is scuffed and scratched beyond belief, likely due to mishandling during the glass replacement. Additionally, the fin/antenna is scratched and chipped in a way that perfectly aligns with the damaged brake light, which has red chips surrounding it—the remnants of the shattered brake light. The shattered windshield that facilitated the need for a replacement was an incident of random vandalism, something that has caused me enough stress and anxiety. I was looking forward to moving past such a dismal situation, only to encounter yet another series of unfortunate events. To add insult to injury, the technician failed to replace my wiper blade, despite my request. This should be a standard practice after a windshield replacement, as broken glass can easily get trapped in the blade and create scratches to the new glass. But hey, what’s one more battle wound, right? Perhaps my feelings would be a bit less intense had the technician been honest and transparent with me about the damage done, but I have been let down on multiple accounts.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I scheduled the appt for Monday, Oct 6 between 8a -12p. The technician called me at 7:33a to lmk I'm the 3rd stop of the day. At 11:55a I called Safelite and asked if he was coming or not. They informed me he was injured on another job. I said don't you think it would have been nice if you let the customers know? Tom, proceeded to say they were in the process of that. I called BS on that. So I had to reschedule for Oct 9. Once again I received a call from the tech telling me that he won't be able to make it between 8a -12p. He said he could be here this afternoon. I asked if that was a guarantee and he replied with "no". I was very confused at this point. I asked why he couldn't guarantee it. He said bc they DON'T actually have my windshield, like they said they would. They were looking at other companies to get it. So naturally I called the office and was told I would receive a call back from management. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND this company to anyone. Very unprofessional. They make people take days off of work and then don't show up.

Fair warning, long review. Skip if you’ve got something better to do. I have an FJ Cruiser It’s not some strange, exotic automobile There are lots of them on the road Due to the vertical windshield like a jeep they tend to catch rocks Mine is no exception. I called my insurance company told them I had a cracked windshield and in October they sent somebody out to fix it in the driveway. the cowl wasn’t put back on properly and he lost one of the covers for the three wiper arms but at least I thought the windshield is in and that’s great. A few weeks ago driving down the highway the trim at the top of the windshield blew off, and I could see it in the rearview mirror I went back and got it and took a look and underneath the trim he had broken the clips and his solution was to fill it with black windshield sealant. It’s not meant for that application of course so I called Safelite told them what was going on. They said someone would call me back right away. They never did. I called again. They said they don’t see any notes but will send somebody right away to your place. I said please make sure he has all of the right pieces and the clips She said, he will The kid shows up he said sorry but the windshield they sent us was broken and I have the trim piece here, but I don’t see the clips that you’re talking about I said the clips that are on the body of the car need to be replaced when you replaced the clips and the molding on the trim piece right? You know this he said I’m sorry, but I think I just broke your windshield when he was trying to scrape away the black silicone that was filled in from the last failed attempt I called this office and said this is what just happened and this is ridiculous. She said that’s OK. Come in. Let me take a look at my calendar. We have a slot Wednesday. Why don’t you drop it off I said I’m on vacation, but I can come back if you’d like to come in Wednesday, we will take care of it. This was a week ago. So I go in and they don’t have any of the parts. She says they never should’ve made the appointment without having the parts first. How am I supposed to know? It’s getting annoying at this point but fine. I’ll go home. So she calls me tells me the parts are in on a voice message. I said please make sure you have all of the clips. She said can you tell me what they are so I go out to the Internet and I show her the parts and pieces that she needs by sending them through email. She assures me that they have them now. so I go in today simply to have the windshield trim snapped into place - six clips across the top of the windshield that fit into six spaces underneath the trim Mind you I’ve done this job myself and it takes about 45 seconds if you press your palm gently over each of the clips snap snap snap snap easy as you please but because this is under warranty I’m gonna let them do it right? I’m sitting in the waiting room and it’s about 45 minutes and everybody’s dashing around looking sort of in my general direction and going back in the back room and whispering and coming back and looking at me and out of the corner of their eye and going back to the back room, whispering, and I finally had it. I walk in to the Installation bay and there they are looking at my truck and the windshield trim is sticking out and I see gobs of black silicone all over the roof of my truck. I’m like holy crap what is wrong with this place? This is a simple freaking procedure and because they’ve now broken a clip and didn’t have two of them. The solution is to fill the void with black windshield sealant and pretend I’m not gonna notice. So at this point I drive home and what do you think happens? I’m halfway home and the trim blows off. So I called them back. I said I’m never coming back there and I’m not mad about anything except the lying. I’m pissed at you not telling me wand fessing up instead you’re sitting there figuring out how to lie and cover it up again. 3X Avoid this place !! 9/24 Follow up. Refund promised never came

*WARNING* *Avoid this location at all cost* I went to this location after an insurance job and it was the second time I came back for the issue and it seemed like their intention was to do a poor quality job because I came back for a repair on the original job. They had my car away from cameras during my windshield that they then decided to place their equipment on top of my sunroof scratching it sideways. They left the job all over my car with black reside inside and outside my car. I took pictures of my interior and exterior with material all over my dash and black reside on my steering wheel and mirror. There intent was do cause negligence towards me and my car. They gave me my keys with residue all over and my hands had reside all over. My ads system wasnt working as I left and it gave me a higher chance of a car accident. I drove home in the rain with my ads system going off just being around cars once on the highway. I will be filing a suit against this location as this location is disgusting and unprofessional techs whoses job it is to give poor quality work and damage cars the best way possible. The manager is never there and he will be hearing from me and my lawyer. If you want your car taken car of and have the safelite guarantee then please avoid this location because they will not take care of you or your car. If you decide to physically go to this location. Take a look inside their garbage. They leave material all over and never clean anything. Be careful who you leave your car too, especially this business. They unfortunately don’t care. Use another glass location or company like JN Phillips. If your insurance has recommended this place. You have the choice to ship elsewhere who will take care of you. Thank you for those who read this and you deserve better for your car.

First technician Kyle was nice, but apparently didn't communicate with the company about giving us a complimentary rain treatment for my sister's windshield. He could not replace the windshield for her scheduled appointment, as he didn't have the proper moulding for her windshield. So my sister ended up taking the day off for nothing. So ge offered her a complimentary rain treatment for her windshield, for the "inconvenience." However, he must have failed to communicate that to the home office, because when the second technician David came the next day, he knew nothing about the complimentary rain treatment, nor did he have the treatment in his van to give us. So we were inconvenienced not once, but twice. The first day when my sister had to take a day off from work, only to be told by the technician Kyle, that the windshield could not be replaced, because he was ill equipt by not having the proper moulding, and second, by me having to take an unexpected sick day, to drive my sister to work, keep her car, so the technician could come back with the correct moulding, and do the work. Only to be told that he knew nothing about the complimentary rain treatment, and didn't have any of the treatment in his van for the procedure. Your technicians need to communicate with your higher-ups better, and also ensure that your technicians are fully prepared with ALL of the correct equipment in your vans. That way, they won't have to inconvenience people further, by having to reschedule appointments. Also, before you respond with this Safelite, my sister making an appointment to her place of employment was not a possibility. First, because she would not be allowed to leave her desk to hand off keys to the technician, and second, because the college parking lot is far too crowded for the technician to have enough space to replace the windshield. She would most likely have many cars parked beside her on both sides. David was apologetic and professional, and he did a great job with replacing the windshield, but you need to do better with communication skills, and also ensuring you have ALL proper equipment in your van. Do better Safelite, DO BETTER!!!ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentGreat price

I’ve had a few windshield replacements done by safelite in worcester. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the first job went ok besides the rain sensing wiper function not working (which they fixed afterwords no problem). The second job was a nightmare. I chose the mobile service, which was a mistake. The tech was very nice, but scraped the paint around the windshield, and then installed the windshield WITHOUT the upper molding. There was visible urethane squishing up from the top of the windshield, and linear scrapes all the way through the color coat. I have no idea how someone would do a job like that and think it was ok. Safelite, to their credit, agreed there was a problem (thank you Jeremy), took the car back, paid for a rental car (even drove me to pick up the rental - much thanks to the front desk lady who did that), primed over the upper scrapes, and re-installed the windshield with the molding, which seems to have just barely covered the upper scrapes. I did still have to pay for rental insurance, but that was my choice. The car looked ok at a casual glance when i picked it up. I let the car chill out for a week before i washed it. When i did go to wash it, i found another small linear scrape/chip all the way down to primer on the passenger-side A pillar right alongside the windshield, with a dab of urethane next to it. Clearly related to the repair process. This is a 2023 BMW X1. I put a lot of work in to afford this car. I love this car. I’m now having to get it worked on by a high quality BMW-certified local shop. They told me that a perfect repair would require quite a lot of work and money. So i’m left having to do a spot touch up on a new car with damage that never should have happened. On top of that, the BMW-certified shop told me that the “single stage primer” that safelite likely used to seal the scrapes above the windshield isn’t a good way to prevent those scrapes from rusting. So now I have to drive this car for the next 100,000 miles looking for paint bubbling or windshield leaks, indicating that it’s rusting up there, and then pay thousands for serious bodywork if that happens. This is insane to go through. I won’t use safelite again. If you have a nice car that you want to keep it nice, go to a local shop, pay out of pocket and then have the shop bill your insurance. Even if you have to pay a little bit more, It’s so worth it in the long-term.
