Things I learned from my failed appointment here today that might help someone else. "Drop & Go" does NOT mean drop and go! You still have to take your keys INSIDE. Do not use the drop box! You can only use the drop box if it's after hours! I still don't understand what Drop & Go or how it's different than a regular appointment. Also, they won't tell you this up front, but if your vehicle is 10+ years old and they find rust they and can't complete a windshield replacement you've got to be prepared to have your vehicle towed to a body shop and then back for the windshield replacement. I would have lined up a body shop if I knew up front that was a risk but they just spring that info on you the day of your appointment.

Have used Safelite in Wisconsin and Oregon in the past with excellent results. Scheduled a windshield replacement through my insurer's affiliate service with Safelite. Had to have my car at the Helena Safelite shop between 7:30-9:30 to get same-day service. I asked and was told their shop closes at 5:00 pm. Delivered my car 14 miles away before 8:00 am. The store manager Tyler said he'd call when it was ready. There were three workers in the service area, plus Tyler, working on two cars. No call by 4:35 pm so I drove 14 miles in busy traffic and construction to get there by 5:00. My car was sitting where I parked it nine hours earlier, still having the broken windshield. When I asked why I wasn't called or why my car wasn't repaired, Tyler English raises his voice and tells me he's short of staff, never promised my car by 5:00, and they'd still get around to it that night. Unfortunately, you cannot believe anything Tyler says and his management skills are deficient. Three hours wasted and now to find a reliable service shop in Helena. I'm optimistic I can find a competitor in town with better service.NegativePunctuality, ProfessionalismServicesAuto windshield replacement

I own a business and I hate to give a bad review as I realize there is more to operating than often meets the eye. However this has to be the worst customer service and lowest level of care or respect I have ever dealt with in any business. It is embarrassing, the franchise owner should let his employees go and try to hire some that actually care about his customers. Had a morning appointment, drove an hour to down in a blizzard with no back window (February in Montana) got there at 9:25 and sat in the parking lot on an important call. Walked in at 9:38. They said because I didn’t show up before 9:30 I was out of luck. I begged them to fit me in, told them I had been waiting in the parking lot, and that it was a two hour round trip in the blizzarding snow, I needed this vehicle for my wife to get the kids to school and sports etc… just looked at me like I was stupid and told me he could get me in sometime next week. I would understand if it was writhing reason, but I’m terrible road conditions I am 5-10 minutes late? I would never treat a customer with such disregard. It’s frankly embarrassing. Hopefully a staff or ownership change can take place, I know that insurance pushes many customers to this franchise, and while we have had misunderstandings with customers in my own business I have never seen such complete disregard and rudeness as I did in this store.

Had an appointment. They quoted 30-45 minutes. 90 minutes later I call. There's no way to actually speak with someone at the local location. It's a call center with unfriendly staff that clearly would rather be doing anything else than help you. I got quoted a wait time of another 30-45 minutes. I decided to just run up to the store because that just didn't sound right. Of course it was done and had been done for over an hour. The local folks are great but as a company they're just the worst. I'll never use Safelite again. There are more customer- friendly options locally.

Terrible. My glass was miss-ordered so when we came in for an appointment it wasn't right. Then they ordered the right glass however they didn't actually order it but they told me it had arrived so I went in but it was not there. So then they actually ordered it and finally I got my glass replaced. This whole process took about 4-6 weeks. And to top it all off, they did a sloppy job of cleaning up the old broken glass out of my trunk and barely removed the tape that held on the temporary plastic.

I made an appointment for my 1995 to get the windshield replaced. Morning of the appointment it was cancelled but not by me…it then took me almost an hour to get ahold of the office which I had to do by calling the 844 number and they had to transfer me magically I was able to get ahold of them for them to tell me they only service vehicles that are 2000 and younger.. that would have been nice to know when I was speaking to the guy at the Helena store who made my appointment. Not making any assumptions but I’m pretty sure they have called id(as does everyone) and they were ignoring me thank you safelite you saved me from supporting your horrible business ethic!
