Our daughter’s windshield needed replacement, Safelite in Madison on Madison Boulevard did an excellent job. One additional comment for those viewing this and our prior positive reviews, we believe in recognizing excellence and verbally communicating disappointments with small businesses/local businesses owners vs. posting negative reviews. Safelite in Madison was definitely a class act, the vehicle also required sensor calibrations per OEM standards. All great!ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentGreat price

Thank you for taking care of my windshield repair. You made taking care of my car easy for me. I had a small peck from a rock and I was afraid it could spread out and completely ruin my whole windshield. I filed a claim with my insurance online and they sent me to the Safelite website to schedule my appointment. It was very convenient to pick out a day and time for my service that worked with my work schedule. Safelite sent me text reminders about my appointment. When I checked in, it was a very short wait. My technician David was very friendly and explained everything to me. I was only there for a total of about 30 minutes before I was back on the road heading home. My out of pocket expense was $0 with my insurance. I am very happy with the entire process.

2 years ago I bought a used 2015 BMW X3 for my daughter in Salt Lake City. I requested the windshield be replaced before purchase because of large crack. Giving both places the precise details, rain sensor, etc. the Safelite estimate was over 3 times what I paid another shop, which provided excellent service with no problems in the ensuing years. The upcharges for “recalibration” etc is a scam. That takes very little effort, and the shop who did the work including calibration laughed when I told them that.

Would give zero stars if I could. Ordered my glass through their website July 13th - nearly 2 weeks and 3 "re-orders" later the Madison AL - Safelite store could not promise me they would have the glass by the end of this week. I will give them a point for sending someone to the first attempted appointment to "crash wrap" the window so the vehicle could be driven until the glass could get here. But that's it. Every time I called it took at least 20 min to get the Madison store on the phone. Plus, they seemed annoyed that I was asking why the appointment was being rescheduled. Most astonishing, their story went from "we normally get the glass within 24 hours of it being ordered" to "it has to come from DC to multiple individual stores so we have no way of knowing how long it might take but its usually about 3 days so it should be here on Friday"..... should be??? hmmmmm. I have a plastic wrapped window in Alabama where it rains nearly every day and i dont know how long that plastic will stay in place. SO.... I cancelled the entire thing, requested my money back and found someone else in Madison who could do the job 2 days later and it cost me FAR less. I suggest anyone needing to replace auto glass SKIP the Madison Safelite shop find someone else.....

The windshield on my Rav 4 needed replacing after being damaged on the interstate by some small flying road debris that Ieft a 15 inch crack. I contacted my insurer and they sent a link with all my autos info to the Safelite web site. It was very easy to make an appointment. Safelite communicated everything I needed to know about what they would do to replace the windshield as well as what the insurer pays and my part. I arrived at the facility left my car and about 2 hours later they contacted me that it was ready. Quicker than I was told. They gave me a few instructions for the next 2 days and I drove away with a great looking windshield. Very friendly and informative staff. Great experience.ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentReasonable price

Not the best experience. Kept confusing my Telluride for a K4. Tried a chip repair first but turned into a significant crack, so needed a replacement. Had an appointment for 10 days later and they looked confused. Did I have a K4? Did they order the right part? Was the part even there? Did they call to tell me any of this before I showed up? That would be a “no” all around. Came back the next week and finally got it done. Hopefully the replacement is successful and I don’t have to ever worry about coming back there again. Safelite, you can do better.
