I’m sure they’re going to come back out and do the job correctly (no choice really because I’d be on them until they do) but was disappointed in my first experience with Safelite. Technician assured they’d have the glass installed in 45 minutes, said ok. Went to grab food, came back and they let me know the glass cracked upon the final step of installation. Soonest they could replace it was 5 days out. This meant that my family of 4 had to rely on 1 car for half the week when the plan was to get the new windshield installed before the week started. Not sure if the technician was rushing, but just unprofessional either way. No discounts or refund offered because of insurance, I just get screwed on their behalf. Why would you come with only 1 replacement glass? Are accidents by technicians not taken into consideration? 2 windshields on site at least just to be safe? Something might go wrong with an under trained technician? If not they need to re-evaluate how they do things, there’s a reason they’re the lowest rated in Roanoke. I’m going to let them fix it because they owe me, but never doing business with them again for any window replacement needs. Was told it was 5 days because the glue had to dry. Y’all don’t have the tools to clean up wet glue from a mistake? Would’ve got 5 stars if my glass was replaced same day. Being told I had to wait until they were ready without any discount or refund was the stinger. Don’t care if insurance is involved, something needs to be offered for the inconvenience and headache.

This will be the last time I let Safelite replace my windshield! They tried to return my 2020 Hyundai Palisade to me like this, no mention of the black marks or all the debris they left behind. And they didn't even bother to reconnect my windshield wiper fluid. Those pillars will probably have to be replaced. I didn't notice the loose trim or the rear view mirror placement issue until after I got home. When you trust the care of a "specialist" you expect them to know what they're doing. I just wonder now if the calibration is correct?!? Zero stars Safelite. This is very unprofessional in my opinion. You should check your work before trying return it to the owner, hoping they don't notice!ServicesAuto windshield replacement

Very friendly and professional technicians. After my first appointment being rescheduled due to the windshield getting broken when installing, job was completed the second time. The windshield leaks due to it not being sealed. Glass was all in my car and outside. I may have had to pay for extra to have it cleaned. I plan to look at the website the find out. It is a old car thats just used for work. Just because the car isn't new it doesn't mean the job should be sloppy and unfinished. I should have went with another company and just paid the extra for the more expensive company. It's not worth saving $100 to use Safelite go with someone else. I've used 4 other Safelite locations in 3 different states and never had issues. It may just be this location.

It took a very long time to get my windshield replaced. The initial order was delayed, then when it came in and we went to install it, we noticed it was damaged and it took two reschedules to get it completed because of delays in shipping. Both technicians who visited were very friendly. The first one, Harold was very professional, contacted me to update his status, and ensured me that he would be at the next installation. That didn't happen because of delays in shipping. I was disappointed that I didn't get a BMW windshield. My original had the logo for "BMW Connected Drive" on it, which the replacement doesn't have. The replacement seems to be doing well. I haven't run it through a car wash yet. There were small areas of residue (glue?) on the windshield that I can't really get off. I'm pretty fastidious about my car, so this bothers me more than it would your typical customer. There was also a reminder for oil change sticker that didn't make it from my old windshield to the new.

Let me tell you about John from Safelight Glass—this man is a wizard, a legend, a glass-fixing guru who probably has panes for brains (get it?). I drove to work with a cracked windshield that looked like a spider web after a caffeine binge, and John just nodded like, *"I got you, fam."* Not only did he fix my glass so flawlessly that it’s now shinier than my future, but he also did it while cracking jokes. At one point, I swear he whispered sweet nothings to my windshield, and honestly? It worked. That glass hasn’t looked this loved since it left the factory. 10/10 service, 12/10 personality, and if I could give more stars, I would—but the glass ceiling (ha!) only allows five. Thanks, John. You’re the transparent MVP we all need. 🚗💨

Guy came and put my windshield in. Broke all the clips to the trim around my front windshield, didn't seal any of it properly. He put the top rubber trim on so poorly that it's rippled, instead of telling me about the clips on the side trim he just smashed it in and now theirs a half inch gap in each side where it has no clips now. And Everytime it rains I have a river of water leaking inside my car damaging my car. Now my controls to roll my window up and down are going out from all the water damage. the rainstorm we got the other day I have a video of all the water that's dumping into my car and now my car smells terrible from sitting in my carpets. The guy that was suppose to come do the warranty repaired was supposed to come in a Saturday. I sat outside my garage and never seen him show up. I got back from the barn to go home and he had left a message on my phone but never came. I told Safelite to let him know I'd let the guy do it in are garage so he could be out of the heat and the sun. I'm assuming he didn't get that message. Idk. But I'm mad caus for the last 10 months or so I've been getting an insane amount of water inside my car when it rains, the clips not being on it looks terrible cause the side trim sticking up like a rainbow, and my rubber moulding that goes across the top is more rippled then a river and none of its sealed. I'd be happy to buy another windshield but I want the trim installed properly and I want the water to stop leaking in our car. I'm a father of five children, a wife who doesn't work, and we don't live off any help or assistance. I work hard and have to pay for everything for us 7. So for the Safelite guy who installed all of this. Thank you. Thank you for literally doing everything wrong, and rushing through the job, and most of all thank you for charging me almost 500 dollars cash after the job was done when the person I spoke to in the phone said it was supposed to be under 400 for the job. They now have a investigation going on for the extra charges you added assuming you were force tipping yourself by changing the price in a job that wasn't even done right. So Safelite. I'm gonna try this one last time to make things right, are you gonna come redo this or do I need to have someone else replace everything and send y'all the bill? Costing me a lot of problems when I ever paid for services that were done wrong. Y'all want pictures of the windshield, the trim, the molding, the seals, or the river that's flooding my car Everytime it rains with my children riding in a car while their father is being soaked with water pouring in on me while trying to get them to school all year? Doesn't seem like a great way to build a good reputation. I'm angry as can be and it's not right to treat the working class Americans this way when we have to work the hardest to foot the bill for this country. And I'm out here trying to survive and care and provide for a family of seven. It's already hard to make it more less having to dish out a ton of money for a repair that was done wrong at every step of the install. Whoever the guy was that did it should be let go. Caus he clearly lied to me, stole from me, and caus me more damages then what was their before he did the install, and rushed the job to get home for the day and left me with a ton of new problems.
