Technician did not show up for scheduled appointment; I received no communication throughout the process. My windshield needed to be calibrated, resulting in an in person only appointment. After calling the next day to customer service, the Safelite team rectified a bad experience and got me in right away, everyone was helpful from this point on. I feel there must’ve been an internal issue between the location and the online scheduler/website. Kudos to the Green Bay team! Taking a not great experience and turning it into a win for everyone.

I was in last June as a stone hit my windshield. Even though a claim was filed with my Integrity Auto Insurance policy, and Safelite determined there wasn't significant damage to warrant a repair, my insurance nonetheless went up $150 annually so I was forced to change to Progressive to stay in my price range. I urge all motorists to check with your insurance company beforehand to learn if your windshield claim comes with a policy increase. The Safelite folks did nice work tho and there was no charge.

DON’T GO HERE! I walked in to pick up my vehicle to see 4 customers’ key fobs in plain view in an unattended lobby with no cameras. INSANE! Extremely careless, a major liability, and an invitation to crime. I was there 20 minutes and the lobby was staffed only for a minute. I called Safelite after this and requested a written response from their Risk Management - no response yet. I also strongly recommended that my insurance company does not work with Safelite as a result of their blatant disregard for safety and crime prevention.

Of course they would put a disclaimer that they aren’t responsible for damage they cause to your vehicle. Because they absolutely know it will happen and you will end up paying double what you we’re already quoted. What a terrible business model. I bet you actually brief your employees to do what you get to drain a customer’s penny. I’m so sick of having to pay for other peoples mistakes to my property. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I was able to get my entire windshield replaced for nearly the same amount that they were going to charge to fix a few chips in the windshield.

Nobody to speak with. Were asked about if we had garage or covering from weather for tech to perform job, in initial questions (we were setting initial appointment). Wife replied,"no". Safelite made appointment for very cold day, on a very cold week(Sub-Zero temperatures). I was called day of appointment by technician, telling me "you can drop vehicle off, but too cold for me to do it in cold weather" That, I can understand. What I can't understand is, how to reach someone to get refund of $50, that was paid for home appointment. When calling, you just get automated operator, that doesn't respond to the word "refund". Can't get a real person on the line. Tried over and over to get real person. Failed at all attempts. Only thing to do was reschedule appointment, or I would have to drive to their business. Which I chose to give-up and reschedule home appointment. When tech was finally at my house, I was telling him the same things I am writing. He said "I know. I've heard this complaint. I feel for you, but Safelite gets upset if he gives out the store number"(land-line). The tech did descent work

I should preface this review by stating that our insurance picked Safelite to install our windshield. We have used Precision Auto Glass for another car and will be taking our business back there in the future. Safelite sent a traveling technician to install our van windshield June 6. He did a great job, but had to call the Green Bay office because THEY had ordered the wrong glass, so it didn't match up with our rearview mirror. My husband heard him talking to the guy in G.B., telling him to order a new mirror for us. Weeks later, mirror hadn't come. I call G.B. office and talk to a guy (wish I had written his name down) who was very apologetic and said they had had "so many issues with that traveling technician", and so sorry but it looked like the mirror hadn't been ordered. He said he was putting in the order right then, so I said thanks. WEEKS later (July 23 now) the mirror still hadn't come. I call Safelite and speak to a girl, who also apologized and said it looked like the mirror hadn't been ordered and could I talk to the manager in G.B. Call didn't go through, so she said he would call me back later. By now my expectations of good customer service were at 0, and for good reason....no call. Save yourself a headache and take your business elsewhere.
