I was very pleased with my visit. I received quite a few emails/ msg explaining what I needed to be done before my appointment, even went to the extent in sending a short video of what needed to be done. BUT I was never told that my insurance would not cover my windshield wipers nor was I ever told how much I would be charged for said wipers. I feel that was being dishonest, and not upfront! As I can insure you I would have not chose to have 75.00 wipes installed! Besides that I was very pleased with my visit. And would have given 100 on my survey.

This was terrible. Brought it in to get a back window replaced and this damage was done to the vehicle. We called customer service and they emailed the manager at the store. We received no response. Now every time we try to call customer service to try to address the situation, the system hangs up on our number. I will absolutely never use this company again and I am going to tell every person I meet about this. This review has nothing to do with a windshield repair, but extraordinary customer service on behalf of one of your technicians at approximately 5 PM on Friday afternoon, February 28. Because of the high winds, I had had a huge branch come crashing down out of my maple tree in the front Boulevard and was laying partially on the street. I looked out and saw a Safelite van stopped on the street. I went out and asked the young man what he was doing and he said moving the branch off the street. That branch is at least 45 feet long and quite heavy. What amazing customer service from someone who expected nothing in return… His name is Antonio. Please Let him know how much his kindness meant to me! He was incredible!!

Booked appointment online, final price was $451.37. Then, day of appointment they said they didnt have the right windshield and had to order it. Then suddenly the price was $971.54 to include calibration that we do not need. Angela said they had to prove it does not need calibration before they can take that off. What? Also, the workorder PDF downloaded from their website shows the price at $1,440.00. Angela had no explaination for this. In the end, we cancelled this appointment. Save yourself the frustration and time and do not use Safelite.

I’ve used safelite in other states and had good luck. This one is Sioux Falls though is garbage. I’ve unfortunately used them 3 times now and each time you schedule an appointment and wait around all day only for them to not show up. Then they reschedule you for a week down the road and they again don’t show up. If they ever show up to fix my current broken window, it’ll be the last time I use these guys. I’ll pay the extra money to use someone local who doesn’t treat its customers like crap and waste their time over and over again. Highly recommend avoiding this Sioux Falls location. Other satellites are probably fine like the one in Des Moines I’ve used in the past.

While traveling across country, we needed our windshield replaced due to a crack. We were told it could take 3 hours, so we planned an afternoon. Safelight got it done in just over an hour. We waited in the lobby a total of 5 minutes to check in and out. They handled all the insurance as well. We got a free afternoon to explore the zoo and some breweries and they fixed our car extremely fast and well. Whoever is managing that location is doing a great job and has excellent staff.
