Update: October 2020 - Just had a chip in my Acura fixed instead of a costly windshield replacement. David (owner) was very nice and helpful as well as entertaining. Great attitude. This small business deserves your support. They are honest, trustworthy, and very proud of the excellent services they provide. Very satisfied with the service, professionalism, and overall honesty of this business. Honest and fair minded business people are very important to me. I had my SUV windshield replaced within an hour and they even dropped me off and picked me up at the Starbucks down the road. This is a family own business and I can see the pride in workmanship they displayed today. They are very competitive in price and I will definitely recommend them to others. Great people and service. Called Friday morning needing a driver's side window replaced. They said they could get the glass in by noon and start on my truck at 2:00. They offered to pick my truck up and deliver it back to me. I took my truck to them, and by 1:30 they called letting my know my truck was finished. They said it would a couple of hours before they could bring it to me. At 3:30 the called and said the driver was outside with my truck. If I have any glass work done in the Hot Springs area, I am calling Star first.

David is the best, superb service - including calling me - using my wife's phone - to tell me she had left her phone behind. Thinking it was my wife calling, I gave David a big ole "Hi sweetie". That's what I call earning your business. That day she had some warranty work done, David always has stands behind his work. I've done business with him for ~25 years & you don't use a business that long unless they provide great service & you can trust them to do the job right. David & Star Windshield do both. I would recommend him to anyone & everyone!

Took over 2 months to get windshield replaced and then they could not reset the windshield monitor so I have to bring it to the dealership anyways. If you have a new vehicle verify they can complete the job before starting it. * update - Recently the cover that goes around the rearview/camera's. Fell off. After inspected it the tabs that was supposed to hold it on were broken off. The car was new when we bought it and the only people to service the windshield was here. We were on a trip to Lake Catherine State Park and had an incident that ended with a shattered back glass (shattered and fell out) in our truck. It was late Saturday evening so nothing could be done until Monday. We called Star Windshield Monday morning and they got the glass ordered right away. It didn't arrive until later in the day so we took our truck in the Tuesday morning. The staff immediately recognized our name and got our truck in right away. We only waited for less than an hour and we were good to go. We chose this shop over the other chains because it appeared to be a local, family owned, Christian business. We were not disappointed. Every interaction we had with them manifested those beliefs and we were more than happy with the our entire transaction. Can't recommend this business enough. Thank you Star Windshield for living out your beliefs in your business practices!

They do fast work and I'm sure it is quality. But they give you a "cash price" estimate but if you are paying them your "cash deductible" and then letting insurance pay balance, those are two different prices. I paid them $500 towards a windshield that they told me was around $750. My insurance gave them a check for $572. I don't know who is screwing who over...but it doesn't make me feel good about this company. I do believe this goes beyond this one lical shop.... I called them about it this morning and they told me that they got a letter recently that said they weren't allowed to disclose what they got from insurance?? Why?
