Yellow Dot Windshield Repair

I called Yellow Dot for an emergency 9 inch crack repair. I shared some pictures of the crack and made an appointment. The day before I was to bring in the car it was supposed to rain. He messaged me to let me know if I could cover it up would help the repair time. Which was totally awesome! I had no idea about these things, it really meant a lot for Steve to do this. He was very professional when explaining the process. He measured the length and within 1.5 hours me and my car were on the road with minimal visibility of the damaged area! Steve was extremely helpful with my last minute call for a quick inspection on a potential chip on my windshield. I was on my way driving down from Seattle to San Francisco and I got pelted with a bunch of rocks going through Tacoma, worried that I got hit with chips and the potential of a windshield crack forming due to the heat, I called Yellow Dot to stop by real quick. Turns out my windshield was fine and didn't need any work done with the minor damage. I was thankful that Steve gave me peace of mind to continue down on my drive. This is after having to file a claim on my Subaru to get its windshield replaced. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to place for future glass issues.

My experience at Yellow Dot could not have been better. I noticed a chip in my windshield, called Steve, and he got me in the next morning. Yellow dot goes above and beyond. Steve has incredible integrity and will work feverishly to do the right thing. I’ve had 6 different repairs with him, starting back in the day when he had a station at Vancouver Mall. It’s been rock chip repair. But today was different. We had a big issue with a chemical film on our back windows of a new-to-me car. He’s using everything in his arsenal to get it right. You see, I went to a car detailed and he used a chemical that created a dog in the window. And then started using steel wool on it. Very scratched up. Steve’s getting it out. Steve did an incredible job at repairing the rather large crack in our windshield! It was unusually difficult and took far longer than expected due to the location, and stubbornness of the crack to accept the resin. He still remained positive and upbeat and stuck to his original estimate. The results were outstanding and well worth the wait! Saved our Jeep logo window! Hands down amazing service! In August I was on the stretch of Idaho where the speed limit is 85 and everyone around me was going 95 when a rock was flung at my windshield which created a crack. When I got home I searched for a reputable company to fill it and found Yellow Dot. Steve is great with customer service, knowledgeable, and got me in and out pretty quickly and at a very reasonable price. He even made sure I knew how to treat any future cracks so they wouldn’t spread while waiting to get in. Recently had a dump truck throw 2 rocks out at me on SR-14 and I couldn’t tell if I needed a repair done. Steve had me text pictures and was able to tell me what to do without having to make an appointment and come in for an evaluation.
