Best solution for windshield cracks (especially if you have a new car or a high deductible), fast and friendly service, highly recommended, operates out of home but works in his parking lot and done within 20 minutes

Found a small chip/crack in the windshield, and had it repaired at Zippy Chip. The guy who did the repair, Jason, seemed very nice and did very good work. He seemed to be experienced, and the repair was completed without approximately 20 minutes. I'll update this review if needed, but I'm optimistic it was A+ work. Highly recommended! Thanks!

Zippy chip was fantastic, I had several cracks, my insurance does not cover windshield cracks but at Zippy chip Jason will fix up to 3 cracks for 39.95 what a deal! One windshield crack was a good size everyone said nah! no one can fix that but Jason did, you have to be inside the car and look very closely to even a slight flaw in the windshield, amazing. Great customer service. I would recommend Zippy chip to everyone, why go anywhere else this is what Zippy chip does repair windshields don't wait till it spreads having to replace your whole windshield. Nice man, great service at a very good price.

I had a crack in my windshield and it was growing bigger every day, when I called Jason he told me to pay him a visit anytime for inspection. I'm disappointed in the guys at Zippy Chip. Brendan worked on a chip on my car last summer. He failed to move the cinder block he stood on while working on my car so that when I pulled off, I ran over it. We both acknowledge that this was a mistake and agreed that if I found anything wrong with the car later, I'd let them know. I didn't find anything immediately, at least nothing I noticed until this year when my AC stopped working on the car. I took it to the shop and learned that the condenser was damaged. When the repairman asked if I'd run over any debris on the road, I immediately thought of my experience with Brenden. I called Jason the owner, while the car was still at the shop and asked him to come over and take a look. I also asked if he would be willing to pay for the nearly $600 in damage that was caused. He went to the shop, seemed to be open to rectifying the situation and I thought we'd get it resolved quickly. The next thing I know, I get an email denying responsibility simply because Brenden now was saying he didn't "think" he'd caused that kind of damage. I won't trouble you with all the gory details. The long story short is that Jason will not return my calls and has completely disappointed me as a customer. For this reason I give Zippy Chip a BIG, FAT THUMBS DOWN. Not for the mistake but for the absolutely POOR customer service and follow through. Tread cautiously if you do decide to do business with them. Yodit -- Ann Arbor
