About 2 months ago, I noticed there's a small crack on the windshield of my Mazda 3. Wasn't big but wasn't small either. OK, I thought, it might stay that way! 2 hours later it expanded across the entire windshield. I was in a big panic and decided to go through my insurance. Dennis reached out to me after I requested for a quote on Yelp, and he helped me through the entire process of making a glass replacement claim by calling the insurance company and talked to them while I remained on the line. The biggest surprise is that he managed to get an approval for OEM glass! Mind you, usually they only approve OEE glass which is not the same thing. Fast forward to the big day, I pulled in front of the shop and dropped off the car key. The job took about 5 hours and my car is in one piece again! An hour after driving off the lot, however, I realized there might be a defect in the glass where I can see lots of ripples from the driver's seat. The passenger can't see anything which is weird. I texted Dennis some pictures and he quickly assured me that they are going to talk to the dealership they got the glass from to submit a warranty request. Unfortunately the dealership ran out of the windshield part (might have been hit with the tariffs or whatnot...) so we needed to wait. That took about less than 2 months, and Dennis contacted me to schedule a time to put on the new windshield. This time everything worked out perfectly. Overall 100% great communication and workmanship. Big props to Dennis and the crew! Hope my windshield could live a long healthy life this time but if the unspeakable happens, I would definitely go with them again. (Pro tip: If you don't have a ride and have to wait, there's a SJ Public Library nearby where you can hang out)

Much praise to Juan, who did an outstanding job on my windshield install. The trim and details are so much better than the last time I had this done (4 years ago, by the cheapest place I could find). He showed up when he said he would, took the time he said he would take, and made sure I was happy before he left. When I noticed the next day that my rearview mirror was loose on the mount, I put off calling because I hate complaining, and I especially hate the possibility of fighting to get my expectations met. I finally called a full week later, and Juan called me back within 10 minutes, but I was away from my phone; he called again another 10 minutes later, and he was in my office parking lot maybe 30 minutes later - exactly when he said he would be, again. I've been my own mechanic for my entire life - just completed a full engine swap on this car - & as time goes on it's more and more rare to come across a tech that knows something I don't. I thought the mount plate that's glued to the windshield was defective (and I know I would break this brand new glass if I tried to replace it myself) - Juan took the mirror off, made some adjustments on the retention mechanism, and put the mirror back on - solid as a rock now. Took maybe 20 minutes of my time to get that resolved. Major props to Juan for being competent, friendly, genuinely interested in the quality of his work, and on time both times. And major props to the lady I spoke with on the phone for being friendly, on top of things, and communicative. This is I think the fourth or fifth windshield I've had replaced, and it's the first time the experience was good enough to write about.PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value

The only reason Im posting this review is because of the SHI*** A** sales rep Dennis who was acting like a total jerk! I called and told him the situation, a landscaping company accidentally shattered my window and was taking responsibility. They'll provide credit card details or I could drop off the check once I received the invoice. He quickly agreed and was more concerned about ordering the most expensive piece of glass at that point. He called again later that night to confirm and again I mentioned the situation I wasn't going to provide my bank or insurance info. Again he quickly brushed me off and I assumed we were at an understanding. I called back the day of 2 hours after the agreed time, no invoice, no info. I AGAIN mentioned the payment situation and he agreed for the 3rd time!!! I asked about the invoice I never received and got it 10 mins before someone showed up to do the work! I forwarded the invoice at that point to the company taking responsibility and the individual completing the work asked for the card info. They threatened to take the glass and leave it completely uncovered without billing info at that moment when I made it absolutely as clear as possible several times that it would be provided ASAP by that company. I completely understand the company needs their money but the way they went about it was completely unprofessional. I hope Dennis gets his attitude, information, paperwork, and customer service skills together!

My 2017 Audi Q5 SUV had its windshield cracked while driving on I80. The rock impact left a 3" crack and we decided to replace the windshield instead of having is repaired. The big national auto glass franchise (rhymes with 'hate life') wanted over $1300 to replace this windshield. I went online and found Onsite Auto Glass Services in San Jose, Ca. I requested a quote from them and the company rep was great at getting the information he needed to give me an accurate quote (1/3 the price of 'hate life' :) ). Still not sure whether I would get a quality product for such a good price. After asking the glass shop rep more questions about quality of the job and checking with my auto insurance company (who recommended them) - I decided to book an appointment at my home to have the windshield replaced. Juan showed up on time, was very friendly, and meticulously removed the old windshield and replaced it with a new one of the same quality. He completed this process in my driveway in just over and hour and left the car cleaned of any debris, with a spotless new windshield, and with first day precautions until windshield sealant fully dried. I am extremely happy with the quality windshield and installation I received for an incredible price and would use them again without a second thought!ServicesAuto windshield replacement

Customer service here is a joke. Dennis said they were gong to be at my place at a certain time. Didn't show up at the scheduled time. Called an hour later to find out that they were running behind. Never received a call about that but had to check in with them to find out why they were going to be 3 hours late. To be fair they were accommodating about the time delay and knocked off $15 from the total. However, a month later the freshly installed window came off the track and is stuck in the down position. Called to set up an appointment to fix it and was told the technician would come between 1:30 and 2:30pm. Didn't happen. Called to find out what was going on and was told the technician ran into problems at the previous job. Since I had to be gone by a certain time, I scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Dennis said he would call the technician and let him know. Twenty minutes later the technician called me to say he was on his way... I also asked Dennis to please confirm the time which was set between 9 and 10 am. Didn't get a call of course. Had to call in and find out what was going on. Is this the way all of their customers get treated ?

Dennis and his team at Onsite Auto Glass are AMAZING! I looked on Yelp because I wanted to find a local company to fix my broken window after last night’s Sunnyvale smash and grab. Onsite Auto Glass has great online reviews and now I know why! Safelite and Auto Glass Now (recommended by my insurance) were quoting me several weeks to get the car window fixed. Once I called Dennis, he immediately helped by working with my insurance, sourcing the parts, had a courier bring one of the parts to San Jose from Hayward, had the technician show up at my home at the same time and fix the window perfectly - This all took place in less than 4 hours on the same day that I called!! WOW! I am so grateful for Dennis and his technician’s awesome help! I was initially dreading having to deal with the broken window situation because I thought it was going to be a hassle, but this company made the entire process so easy for me! They are quick, efficient, reliable and they do excellent work! And their customer service is the absolute best!! What a blessing to get to work with them! I highly recommend their company!

My car's windshield was hit by a small stone on the highway and the crack soon became too large to fix. I filed a glass claim with my insurance and collected a quote for both aftermarket and OEM glass, which are both expensive in the recommended repair shop. Finally, I found Onsite Auto Glass LLC. Their customer representative is very kind to explain the price break-downs for OEM and aftermarket replacement. She also instructed me how to work with my insurance company to switch repair service provider. Their OEM price is more than 10% cheaper than the insurance company's suggested shop! On the next day, the technician (Juan) arrived on time. He is very professional and considerate. He explained the procedures to me, carefully removed accessories, and cleaned leaves below the glass. He installed the new glass neatly and told me how to secure it in the first few hours. Now my car returned to normal again :). Thanks to Juan and onsite LLC. This is the company to use if you have auto glass to be replaced. On a Friday night, I started looking for options and seeking quotes online to have my windshield replaced. Within what seemed like a matter of minutes, Deng had texted me to arrange for service the next day. I wasn’t able to confirm with her until morning and we were still able to set up an appointment for Saturday afternoon. We ran into a snag when Chris discovered the windshield he brought didn’t fit my car. I was upset about the delay that this caused and wasn’t very nice about it, but Chris and Deng hung in there with me. As soon as it was possible to get the right windshield, Chris was back to quickly and expertly install it. Deng adjusted my fee to make up for the unexpected delay and when it was finished, not only did I have a perfectly installed new windshield, I felt like I established a relationship with a company I want to recommend and use again. Service with integrity, excellent pricing…everything you could ask for!

I am beyond grateful to this onsite auto glass service for being a true lifesaver! After my car window was smashed late at night, I was in a tight spot—I’m leaving the country on Friday and desperately needed the repair done before Thanksgiving. I called them around midnight, feeling stressed and unsure, but Dennis was incredibly kind and reassuring. He went above and beyond to adjust their schedule and fit me in the very next day. By 11:00 AM the following morning, Juan Campos arrived and skillfully replaced my window onsite, completing the job by 1:00 PM. The fact that they managed to resolve everything so quickly, with such care and professionalism, during a busy holiday week, was nothing short of amazing. Their kindness, efficiency, and attention to detail turned a frustrating situation into one of immense relief. I can’t thank Dennis and Juan enough for their help—they are truly lifesavers.
