Driving into work Thursday my passenger window fell all the way into my door. Called Safelite got transferred to 3 stores with no answers , dealership wanted a 4 week wait plus $500. In comes Carlos and True Shield! We found him and True Shield on Google and it was the best thing ever. Carlos showed up within a couple hours ready to go. We got the door apart and problem diagnosed . we ran into issues finding the part for my 2013 kia optima as it was completely unavailable except for the dealer $500 price. So Carlos got to work and found a replacement part within 48 hours and had my door and window back fully functional in no time (By Monday). i’ll never ever look anywhere else for my window or glass concerns. He’s a true professional who values his customer and makes sure he finishes a job all the way through to satisfaction. Thanks again Carlos !

Honestly had the best experience here. After dealing with Safelite AutoGlass and their terrible customer service, and then Auto Glass Now, working with this company was a breath of fresh air. The entire process—from scheduling to arrival to the time it took to complete the job—was seamless. I arrived around 12:45, and everything, including the calibration, was finished a little after 2 p.m. I’m genuinely impressed. The new windshield looks incredible compared to my old one that was covered in cracks and rock chips. Can’t thank you guys enough—excellent work all around! My windshield had suddenly cracked immensely overnight due to the really hot weather lately (apparently stemming from a really old, untreated chip that finally gave way). I was able to schedule a next day appointment, and the replacement was completed in under an hour! They even reapplied items I had on my previous windshield (E-ZPass, camera, permit). Very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable: asking the necessary questions and patiently willing to answer all of my questions and concerns while I went back and forth to confirm details with my insurance. A big thank you to Carlos and his team at True Shield Autoglass in Gaithersburg. My car window was broken last night. Other places that I called (of the ones that answered) weren't going to be able to fit me in for an appt until tomorrow (Saturday) or Monday but Carlos provided me an appt the same day. The work was done within less than an hour and I could wait there so I didn't have to worry about getting a lift from someone. Not having to go another night with a wide open car window provided tremendous peace of mind (bonus perk that I can now even keep my weekend plans)! I’m very grateful I found this shop after Safelight had cancelled on me. Someone had completely smashed in my back quarter window a few weeks ago to steal my phone charger. My insurance deductible was high so I had to pay out of pocket. I contacted them through their website and they sent me a very reasonable quote of $250. I set up scheduling over email on the 26th and they replaced my window next week on the 5th. I think the worker took maybe 30 minutes to replace it. I took my car to True shield auto as the passenger side of front window glass was stuck. Carlos had estimated over the telephone $200.00 to fix it. When I took my car he checked and told me I had by mistake pressed child safety lock and so the glass had locked up. He showed it to me and didn’t charge anything. I was so impressed. He could have easily deceived me and I would have not known. Thanks Carlos, I appreciate your honesty.

I arrived on time for my appointment and Carlos arrived 40 minutes late, no explanation, no apology. I was going to leave and find another place but the assistant said the repair would only take 15 minutes so I waited. The “repair” took 45 minutes and I can still feel the chip in the outside of the windshield. Maybe they’re good with replacements but definitely not for repairs.

A rock hit my front windshield the next day I contacted True Shield Auto Glass and they were able to replace my front windshield in about 2 hours. A1 customer service and extremely professional. I needed to have my passenger sideview mirror fixed. I tried calling several places to get this fixed and they wouldn't take the job because it was too small. I called True Shield and were able see me the next day. The owner Carlos fixed the mirror and I was on my way. Great friendly fast service. If you got any auto glass issues call them.

Messaged them using the Google Maps app and they responded almost immediately. I inquired about pricing and it was much less expensive than the quote I got from Safelite at $250 total vs. $399.99 plus tax. They came to my home and replaced my windshield in 30–45 minutes. Great service and great price.
