What a fast and fantastic business! We drove up from the Kenai Peninsula to get our windshield replaced. We have 2 big dogs that travel with us, and they were allowed to wait inside the lobby with us. We GREATLY appreciate that! We had planned on being stuck outside in the chilly air walking our dogs while waited. Instead, it was warm and comfortable. Also.....for a 'shop' bathroom.....it was nice and clean! (Cleaner than all 3 Safeway stores on the Peninsula, and many of the restaurants!) Hopefully, we never need another new windshield, but if we do, we'll use Safelite again! Nice guys, great service! Thanks again!

From start to finish, their service was nothing short of exceptional. Scheduling an appointment was quick and hassle-free. Their technicians are true professionals—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They explained the process clearly and worked diligently to ensure the repair was flawless. The crack in my windshield is now fixed, and I feel confident driving my truck again. What impressed me most was their commitment to quality. The pricing was very fair, and they even helped me confirm the insurance process, making the whole experience stress-free. It’s rare to find a business that combines expertise, outstanding customer service, and affordability. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and skilled team for your windshield repair needs, look no further. I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends!

Worst service, It wasn't my insurance company that put me there, I would never go to satellite the first time I went, he said I was late, more than 10 minutes, so I had to reschedule, and the service was delayed until - a week later. The second time I arrived early on time he said my car smelled bad and had to be cleaned super clean to come back and I just had a pet dog I had cleaned and sprayed before I went and he said their staff sat It will feel uncomfortable inside, refuse to serve me for this reason, and warn me to clean it very clean, then come back and arrange again, the next 10 days of waiting I think next time he will definitely say that my car makes them feel uncomfortable Comfortable, rearranged again, I don't know what it means, I have been to my factory to maintain the car before, no one said, my car had a bad smell it seems that the customer is begging them, they are God. If you have a dog, don’t go to their they will not dislike you There is a smell in the car, and I keep changing the schedule for you as if saying that I don't want to do your service or business. We don't care about you you go away. I also saw the previous post. Some people wrote that their technology is not up to standard and there will be noise when installing a window, and the price is also very high. I suggest that you go to other places to buy half the price and install a new front window. I will never go to them because their service is terrible, and the special Rear some reviews say they are terrible too.NegativeProfessionalism

I've used Safelite AutoGlass on Old Seward Highway in the past when needing a replacement for my wife's windshield and my daughter's windshield. The Safelite app/website makes it super easy to schedule appointments. And the team running the Old Seward Highway location are super friendly, professional, and polite. I really like them. I also appreciate how upfront Safelite is with what to expect from repairs of different crack types (helps you know that your windshield chips or small spider cracks will be filled in and protected from getting bigger, but will likely still be visible.)ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentGreat price

Tried to book online, was quoted a reasonable price for a new windshield, but the price for the forward facing camera isn't disclosed unless you complete a booking. Called the local Safelite number, had to go through quite a few menu options before I was connected with a real live person. The individual I spoke with was reluctant to tell me how much the calibration would cost unless I gave them all my personal information. I refused, and eventually the person said that it might cost between $250-$500 extra for the calibration. It shouldn't be this difficult for Safelite to tell a potential customer the total cost of a windshield replacement. Seems like they want to get you on the hook, then spring an extra charge on you that costs just as much as the new windshield. I understand that the camera calibration is necessary, I just want Safelite to be upfront about the cost. I ended up booking an appointment with a different company that was willing and able to quote the exact total cost.

After having my windshield changed I was driving down the road and my trim around my windshield came off. I took it back in right away and they got me a Saturday appointment to fix it. I called and ask how long that was going to take and she said about 3 hours. So, I had my husband follow me and we dropped it off. As soon as we got home they called to say it was done. That was really quick. We drove back down to find that now my side trim was sticking out and would definitely fall off if I drove it. They did not slid the front trim back to the side trim they just placed the side trim on top sticking out! She told me that was not their problem that was mine! I told her you had to take my trim off to put the windshield back on so that makes the trim work on you. She totality disagreed. But they did fix the side trim from sticking out after I went home and came right back again. Now my rubber piece underneath my front trim is sticking out making a racket when I am going down the road and my auto wipers have not worked since they changed my windshield. They are not helpful and they are not fixing it. I have to take it in for a repair now to get my windshield trim and my auto wipers fixed after getting a new windshield. I would definitely think twice before taking any vehicle to the Safelite AutoGlass on Old Seward.
